Rockstar was always so under the radar with their developers, but Lazlow’s work with the radio on those PS2 GTA games is truly etched into my brain. The story and gameplay are great, its the countless unskippable loading scenes at each corner which made me lose interest in that game. Watching Max slowly walk over to push 2 buttons and go up an extremely slow elevator after every shootout, when there are time based challenges in the game, that becomes tedious very quick. And the scoreboards were hacked instantly to the point of the scores being so big that it crashed some game-modes making them unplayable till this day and R* did nothing about it.

The experience playing that game was ungodly. From the first announcement trailer in december 2011, to the release date, what a ride. Great having Lazlow on. GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas were a big part of my childhood (I was an autistic loner). Lazlow's GTA writing was hilarious the entire time. Also hearing about super meth makes me feel fine about doing coke

Damn glad to see Lazlow again. His KROCK/XM show was underrated and all on youtube too. RIP Big Wayne.

This is one of the best podcasts I've ever seen. I made it halfway through and felt obliged to get drunk to enjoy the final half. Great host and great guest. Please have this man on again. The chemistry is tangible.
