I just started playing minecraft again after 5 years, and I gotta tell ya, it feels so refreshing, especially when I tried doing roleplaying instead of speedrunning through the game. After having a blast in Kingdom Come Deliverance, the idea of roleplaying as a bailiff building his own settlement really inspired me, so now I'm playing the game as if I'm a lord rebuilding a settlement, taking the game as slow as it can be and have fun. There's always something comforting about an OG playing Minecraft. For anyone wondering what resource pack it is, it's called "Fresh Animations". It works by default with Optifine but if you want to use something else you need 2 mods: Entity Texture Features and Entity Model Features. I don't know if you need both but I always use them together. Or you can get the "Fabulously Optimized Modpack" which includes all the mods that can replace Optifine.

I love that this is just a chilled Minecraft playthrough, I haven’t seen many in recent years, especially with all of the new updates to the game. To stop the villagers from coming in your house, you can place the door sideways and the villager will try to open it but it is technically already open so they can’t come in.

I stumbled upon Dans Diamond Dimensions series 11 years ago (I'm 17 now), and ever since I've been hooked. Dan always had this down-to-earth aura and a cozy vibe to him.
