I loved this man's gift for music. He was a true musician through and through and it showed in his playing. I was devastated and heartbroken to learn about what a senseless event that occurred and ended his all too short a life. I miss him. It is hard to imagine what kind of music, or how much more music he could have brought to the world. He was a digital friend and a strong acquaintance who communicated with me often and regularly. I miss those times. I wish more than ever that we could have met at least once in person. I think my lovely Wife would have enjoyed meeting him at least as much as I would have. I really admired his musical wisdom, knowledge, courage and love. He was a rare edition to the world of music.

Excellent piece Dante! Reminds me a bit of the musical territory that Steve Tibbetts took the kalimba back in the 80's. The hang works very well fleshed out in an ensemble setting! Keep pushing out those boundaries!

@cragnog - Try to see it from PANArt's viewpoint. They are simply two artisans pursuing their vision of what they feel is the best the form and steel can create. They aren't global marketers or in business to sell Hanghang. They're just following their hearts and ears. If they hadn't done that, the Hang would never have been created (it offended many when it first came out). There are alternatives available from the simple Hank, to the Caisa, Spacedrum, BaliSteel, BEll, Halo, and others.

@alberto9911 these Hang Drums are unaffordable. You have to apply at the swiss company for getting in line to be allowed to order one. Even when they approve youll wait months for it. And You arent allowed to resell it, the company will make you sign a contract when ordering one where you subscribe that the company has the first right to buy it back for nothing more than the price you payed. It's the Bugatti Veyron of musical instruments.
