I’m sorry to tell you, but this is not AI. I saw these guys in 1962. My older brother took me to see Dante Rivers at The Dexter Lake Club. When they played “Bitch Ass Bitch” everyone grabbed their sweetheart and took to the dance floor. It was a great time to be a youngster and songs like “Bitch Ass Bitch” gave us a soundtrack to live out our romantic adventures. It’s too bad that Dante Rivers is now departed, but “Bitch Ass Bitch” will always live on the nostalgic memories of a generation.

Florence was one of Andre’s early relationships. “Bitch Ass Bitch” was Andre’s social commentary on Florence’s whimsical behavior. I can still recall my aunt singing “Bitch Ass Bitch” and telling me about Florence’s bumps and bruises. It was a much simpler time.
