Oh Geoffrey, Geoffrey, you were the muse for this work of art. So few people can actually inspire an artist to create an art piece, but you did. It was wonderful watching the artist create this.

These days the ignorant and intolerant are quick to offer their opinions on matters they have no authority in. Witness the sudden ascent of millions who suddenly knew more than medical doctors during the pandemic. I applaud you for your response and it's quite apt. Applause for you and your work. Thank you for sharing this.

Always good to ignore those who wish to put you down, I have no tolerance for negativity and encourage others to do the same.

You reached me with this, with all of it. Thank you for your reality. Inspiration is available and on tap if we see it at the angle that works. We just keep working towards the unknown goal.. The muse, the artist, the piece of time that stopped when one hand stopped moving.... I'm so glad I found you years ago. This was flow at it's best.

Loved watching this develop, especially how you defined the open areas, sort of a macrame-shade effect. Great 'sound' track as always!

Quite enjoying these “char-crylic” pieces. It’s motivated me to try them also. Thanks for sharing your work and Fuck the haters. 🔥

Your work is amazing! Take no notice of the Geoffrey person. If he still has to make a reference to his Mummy , it says it all. 😂.

This is very hard to do, as I know from several peronal experinces,.if you can tell yourself that it's not YOU who has a problem but THEEM then shut it out, it does work. Years ago on stage ,when I was doing a solo gig, two oiks (idiots) started to shout very rude things at me. It ended up with them unplugging my audio leads on full load (Ii can blow the speaker cones out in your very expensive rig. hHere was no sign of the security grunts, I just walked to the front of the stage and asked them if their mothers knoew they were out. They cleared off. It was a good gig after that. These kids are not worth loosing sleep over. Don't let them get under your skin, in a few years, they will grow up (we hope).

Hi Gordon, sorry for this late response. I have been interested in all the comments about this demo and the reason behind it. I hope it does inspire others to just ignore the negative comments that others seem to take pleasure in posting, I realize that we cannot please everyone and that taste is a very personal thing, it shouldn't be a reason to feel discourage if someone has a different view. Unfortunately KZbin does make it easy for this type of comment to be posted and it is easy for someone to hide behind the words they type, I wont always respond in such a direct way such as this demo but I think it has made a point. Thanks for your comment and support, and my message to anyone who doesn't like what I post, look around, KZbin is a very big platform and I am sure you will find something more to your taste.

When you paint, do you have a vision in your mind of the end result, or does the painting evolve spontaneously, I mean as in - you don't know what marks you are going to make until you make them? Or is it somewhere in-between. I'm curious to the mental process.

I often begin with complete freedom and allow instinct to take over, I judge the balance of the composition and the variety of marks, and sometimes an idea or subject may begin to form I avoid the piece becoming overworked and stop the process when I feel the work is complete.
