I like the colors, soft, not so intense , soothing even. Your line artwork is always wonderfully creative and interesting as is your process. Thank you for omitting distracting music. For me, the sounds of the process, the tools and materials adds so much more interest, but music at the end was nice!

Thank you very much! Yes I think the demos benefit from having no music and I hope they are simple enough to follow. You can learn a lot from a close up sequence without words.

A very informative video. Sorry if this is a bad question, I have never worked with block printing ink, can you use black acrylic paint intead?
@DanTirels10 ай бұрын
Yes you can but it does dry fast so you need to experiment. Always use the thicker acrylic paint sometimes called heavy body.

Did you use the paper with the excess ink for something else? Love to watch your creativity, its very soothing.

No but I have kept it, you can draw over it with charcoal or use it in collage, I try not to throw anything away.

WHY DID YOU APPLY PAINT TO THE TRAY AND FROM THE TRAY ONTO THE ALUMINUM FOIL, WHY NOT DIRECTLY ONTO THE FOIL?
@DanTirels2 жыл бұрын
This is block printing ink which is very different to paint, it needs to be worked into a smooth surface so it is suitable for printing.
