Last year our flight into Gatwick, I was filming the display of our flight, nearing Gatwick we got a bird strike on the camera up on the tail we were flying with Emirates on the A380 800, found Gatwick to be a short runway. When we departed later that month it was raining and the A380 used up the whole runway to take off. We watched a magnificent electrical storm about the equator at about 1.00am, just spectacular that was going to the UK. I must edit up a video of all of my landings and takeoffs Starting in New Zealand, then Sydney, UK HR, Dubai, exciting stuff although I find the long haul flights very hard as I don,t sleep so NZ to UK with stops is hard.

Just flexing. The Flaps take a lot of buffeting when fully deployed and it's quite normal for these to flex on their end points.

@Swan Bee. Outboard spoiler goes up when the aileron goes up to provide extra down force on that wing. When aileron goes down , spoiler lays flat. You would have seen this during pre departure control surface movement checks. The spoilers fly up on landing to destroy wing lift, and stop aircraft bouncing back in to the air. Spoilers double as speed brakes.

This was great to watch.Ii noticed that you focus on Tower Bridge,i live very near to it and see planes heading in to Heathrow all the time but i have never flown in to there myself so it was fascinating to see London from above like this.I notice that you seem to sit near the wing a lot,do you request seats that look out on to them.

Since wings flapping, the fleet have taken much much time to be grounded, it is also realized that the fleet rounded 180 degree. Either the ACT was busy or the captain In-Charge is nor capable to land the fleet......
