it isn't truly but it is possible to mimic certain styles in your own way. Two occasions, its been a few years and both times, i was 4 beers doing karaoke in but I was flawless in two songs (Don't let the sun go down on me/John and How do you talk to an angel/The Heights) and I don't know how I got there but I road it out. Its possible to a degree but somebody like Dan is working those songs until they're as perfect as he can make them. Good signers can probably be good to go in a few different styles to at least hit karaoke night standards. He's worked hard beyond this to work his voice.
