The food at Antidote looks so good I want to travel from Hawaii to Vegas to try it. Is Thomas originally from Hawaii? I may have missed it.🤨😊

Aloha Dan. I know Amanda & Felix taught you the difference between ethnic Hawaiian cuisine and Hawaii-style food. You know Kalbi is Korean. You know furikake is Japanese. Hawaiian food is laulau, poi, kalo, aku! Don't sleep on Aloha Specialties upstairs in the California Hotel. They're the OG Hawaiian Style restaurant!

Ay I'm not being dis respectful , but you have to say what it really is , it asian it's not Hawaiian , those foods came from the he plantation days when different cultures lived. You had Puerto Rican Okinawan , Japanese , Korean Filipino, etc , that the male up of the cuisine, just putting this out there 🤙🏾

Other Hawaiian words you can use: Majah (major), Brah (not bruh) , K den (see you later),. Many more but these are the more common ones. Locals please chime in!!!

Sorry the market street oxtail style to me is not hawaii. It’s nothing compared to kapiolani coffee house or Aiea bowl oxtail soup.

i hope that new island flavor location is better than the durango location. every time i went there, the furikake chicken was dry. it was obviously pre cooked and re-fried to order. i rather wait 15 min for fresh fried chicken than get dry ass old re fried chicken. This is why I hate videos where the restaurant knows the person eating it is reviewing it. they always make sure to make it he best they can for them but for the avg person going in, they always cut corners. note to the video creator, you might want to highlight the name of the restaurants a little more obviously. i missed the name of the first restaurant and it took me a while to find it in the video and im still not 100% sure if the name of the place is called antidote or not.

With a platform like this, with so many subs, you should not contribute to the misinformation by calling this Hawaiian food. There's a big difference between Hawaiian food and local Hawaii food. Just like how I am Hawaii born and raised, but I would never call myself Hawaiian. That would be super disrespectful to the real Hawaiians.
