Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial. It has been about 15 years, since I crocheted with beads the last time and this was before there was a software. I purchased some patterns on Etsy and was stuck, because I simply didn't understand how to read the patterns. After this and some more of your tutorials, I am ready to get started, and I am really excited to try my own designs

Thank you. It was very informative. I have a problem. if I use the middle column to design, the step up messes me up. If I use the first column, the pattern is distorted in that column. Would you be able to show a video of you putting a semi-complicated design using this program? I understand spirals and simple designs. thanks!

Hi Danysska, Great tutorial! I will for sure now try to create some designs myself. I have 2 questions for you: - When you create a pattern in let's say black/white, is it possible to duplicate it and quickly change it to red/blue? So that all black beads are changed color at once? - In the end of the video, you mention that you would also be talking later about how to solve mistakes when stringing: missed bead, wrong color bead, bead too much... is that video out yet? Can you link me to it? Thank you!
@Danysska
@Danysska 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Eva, thank you very much! As for changing the colour, yes, it can be done very easily. Just click on the colour in the palette and change it. This will change the color wherever it appears in the pattern. The video regarding the bad bead is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6rdfGyEaNmDepY And the others aren't up yet, hopefully I'll get to that soon.

Thank you for the great video. How many repetitions for a size 6-7-8 bracelet? Also, does it make a difference in what size beads - 8/o or 11/o miyuki seed beads or delica beads?
@Danysska
@Danysska 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you ❤️ If you use 8/0 beads, it's approximately 13 rows per inch - so, if you want to make 6 inches long bracelet, it would be 78 rows. And if you use 11/0 beads, it's approximately 15 rows per inch.

Hi! thanks for the throrough explanation, clean clear and simple! :D. One thing though as i didnt manage to get it, how do you change the number of beads per row? yesterday i tried a 9 bead/row with PRECIOSA 8/0 and it was a disaster as the circunference was not working and the beads didnt want to place correctly as i advanced.. :( Thanks again for you great tips!
@Danysska
@Danysska 4 жыл бұрын
9 bead/row with PRECIOSA 8/0 should work well. If you have pattern with 9 beads per row you have to crochet 9 beads per row. You have to change/transform whole pattern if you want to change the number of beads per row. You can change it in Pattern - Width.
@lkirkeby
@lkirkeby 4 жыл бұрын
Great video but I have 2 questions for you. 1. If the pattern you create doesn't span all squares in the row (in the Draft column), when you make a copy of the pattern to place above it, there will be empty squares, thus throwing the whole pattern off. Does that make sense? 2. In the draft column, it is numbered from bottom to top, yet the pattern reads from top right to left and then down. Why is it designed this way when, in order to copy the pattern, you must create it from the bottom up? And I'm finding that I have to enter my pattern backward, starting at the bottom left to right of the Draft column, in order for it to be correct in the List of Beads. I know you didn't write the software, just hoping for some clarity. Thanks!
@Danysska
@Danysska 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) Unfortunately, I don't think I'll help you much with these questions. 1. There is nothing that can be done about it. Maybe they will solve it somehow in the next version of the software (if there will be any). 2. I don't know why it's designed this way... I also tried to enter a negative number, if the pattern doesn't happen to be copied downwards, but it doesn't work.

Hello Danysska, at first thank you so much for this very very helpful vidéo. 🤩👍👌 . May I just ask you for a question? : when I try to create a pattern, there is a difference between the last graph and the rope made (the rope is twistted compared to the last graph). I thaught that it should be the same...I dont understand ! Thank you very much for your help ! Kisses
@Danysska
@Danysska Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you so much! The result may differ slightly from the third column (be more twisted) depending on your crochet style. But it shouldn't differ in any major way. I don't know what program you design patterns in, but for example on crochetbeadpaint.info you can even adjust the amount of twist in the pattern based on your crochet style.

When you read the patterns top to bottom and right it creates correctly. Does it read correctly if you are left handed or do you need to read backwards like some other crochet?
@Danysska
@Danysska 6 ай бұрын
Hi, I honestly don't know how to crochet left-handed, so I don't know if the reading pattern needs to be adjusted somehow. However, a few months ago a left-handed person posted here that the pattern didn't work out well for her, so I guess some adjustment is needed... Maybe someone who has experience with this can advise.

Hello! I'm a newbie in this I saw a really cute pattern on pinterest but the circumference is 14 and I'm having a lot of trouble in how to start it, at the third row I completely lose the pattern and I don't know what to do or if I'm doing something wrong thank you, you helped me in how to read the patterns too
@Danysska
@Danysska 4 жыл бұрын
Hello, do you crochet it using a slip stitch or single bead crochet? Single bead crochet is definitely better for the 14 circumference. It's quite hard to advise like this when I can't see where you're making a mistake. Try to follow this tutorial 🙂 kzbin.info/www/bejne/raPXe6mCn71jgrs But if you a making a slip stitch crochet, the common mistake is to not push the bead to the right when you put your hook to the loop and that mess appears most often in the third row.

Some time ago I was interested and I found only BeadTool www.beadtool.net/. It's for $49.95, I bought it and it works nice. But it's not supporting cbb, jbb. Only btp, bts, btc, btf, btl, ebp. You can do loom & square stitch, brick stitch, peyote (1-9 Drop), tubular peyote, Native American Gourd and right angle weave (1, 2 & 3 bead). So, if I wanna transfer jpg to bead crochet rope, I use BeadTool to transfer jpg to peyote pattern and then redraw the pattern in Jbead 🤔 It's quite difficult but I didn't find better way to do it so far. So, if you find something better, please let me know 🙂

Thank you for all of your videos. I created my own pattern and added letters. When I crocheted my pattern the letters came out backwards. Any idea why? I do crochet left handed, could that be the reason?
@Danysska
@Danysska 2 жыл бұрын
Hey, it has nothing to do with being left-handed. If you want to crochet a pattern with text, you always have to draw it backwards for it to show up correctly in the results. What do you draw patterns in? If it's in Jbead or on crochetbeadpaint.info, then right there in the third column in the simulation you can see how the text will actually appear.
