I think people are missing what Glenn is going for.. when giving interviews for Seth Red Sabaoth he specifically mentioned his dislike of sterile sounding over produced albums.. he wanted to revive the raw gritty analog sounds of the 60's and 70's and if that was what he wanted his music to sound like he nailed it...

Classic goalpost shift. Danzig can't produce, however it comes out he makes an excuse.

sounding garagey isn't the same thing as sounding shitty, the man just can't produce an album but insists on doing it

I guess I do not hear the issue that others are hearing on this. I love the riffs/melody and to me, the whole album, it sounds dirty, sleazy, raw, pure rock that is not overproduced like most are today. its fantastic to me, when i listen to it, it just feels very sleazy, dirty, trashy, etc and dark as well. I am always happy when a new Danzig album is released. Is this new album for everyone, no, not at all, but to those who it appeals to, this album was made for you. Pure darkness and sleaze with a hint of trashy thrown in. Love it!

One of the first songs I listened to by Danzig. I'm 14 and everyone I know hates them. The people of my generation forgot what real music sounds like, and it's sickening how music has grown. Props to Danzig for making genuine music that comes from the heart instead of music that comes right out of autotune

As a TRUE and long time Danzig fan, this song still gives me chills like most of his songs. I'm sorry to all of the people that don't like this album, I guess I didn't realize how many Hollywood music producers listened to Danzig. Please send me your newest album that you made on your MacBook Pro, because I'm sure it doesn't contain ANY auto-tune what so ever, and I'm sure that you're just oozing with original talent. I can't wait to hear it on all of the popular radio stations, and your continuous material for the next 30 years or so, because everyone can relate to songs about bad relationships and doing drugs...right? Everyone is equal to their own opinion, and I can appreciate that, but when you just want to criticize Danzig, please keep putting out this kind of amazing material. Your dedicated fans are here, and still loving your material...even though a lot of people think that sounds badly produced playing from their iPhone speaker.

I own multiples of every record Danzig has ever made Misfits,Samhain and Danzig.I wasn't thrilled with Devil on Highway 9 but this is fucking amazing. This is Danzig. This doesn't sound like it was recorded the same way as Devil on Highway 9 to me at least. Also for all the people that don't like the way this sounds. Most are probably listening on crap computer, tablet or phone speakers. Also compare this to the crap all the other (metal)artist from Danzigs era are making and have out currently. This blows it all away even the new slayer album. Its 2017 and your getting a new Danzig album if your a true fan shut up and appreciate this album.
