After 6 Years i've seen this clip, i've remembered only one word "Blade". Search for Daoc + Blade and i found this clip. Amazing. I loved it, cool music, nice playing, i had playing an infiltrator and this was my favorit clip :) and because of this clip i listen about 2 years metal :D

The opening song is by Apocalyptica, they are a group of classically trained European cellists who have have released a few rock albums. Most of it is pretty good. The other band is Hammerfall, also a European heavy metal band.

@seppevdm The game is still viable. I renewed bit over a week ago, hadn't played for over 4 years, and they made everything far easier, so you can more quickly get to the good part, which is RvR. Yes, if you want a high-end template, you will need to spend some time raiding, but even a casual player can get a high-end template now, it will just take more time. Artis and ML are purchaseable with special drop currency or bounty points, for instance, meaning they can be done at ones own pace

@firinus Cant speak for all, but the community on Mid/Ywain (the primary US cluster now) is great, feels a lot like DAoC did back on Prydwen in the old days, love the game now, not regretted renewing at all

Do you even play DAOC? First of all the SB in this video is RR9, so +19 to all stats. That makes stealth 31+19 which equals 50 and 18+19 equals 37 envenom, and access to the second highest str/con debuff. Second of all she does have Creeping Death (34 in CS) also shown 40 seconds into the movie. So all in all not a bad spec especially after watching her kick everyone's ass...maybe you should play a stealther then comment.

@HenseStudioz his logic is false. 18+19 envenom is already with the RR9 buff. It's not 18+19+19. I played a stealther extensively in my DAoC days and this shadowblade is trash.

I remember watching this and thinking '' wow this shadowblade is good ! Wish I could do this !!'' .. Now I watch this today and I think '' Most of the people she fought and included in her video had no chance of winning from the beginning''. I mean the dumb paladin that chase her and almost kill herself from fall damage ? But that goes for most of the daoc video I watched back in the day. Gank group video. Zerg buster video or solo'er video. Most of the time they included people who had no chance to win or had all their RA down(bragging right ). It was fun to watch though and I guess that was the whole point . I keep hearing '' DAOC WAS ALL ABOUT SKILL AND NOT EQUIPEMENT'' I'm sorry ? Having a solid templates was the whole point of kicking ass. Especially after the expansion trials of Atlantis. Farming scroll, credit and leveling artefact was a pain in the ass and I am not including obtaining ML and having easy access to a legendary spellcrafter and armorsmith. Than you have realm abilities and realm rank. It was actually much more harder and grindy than most current mmo. I still remember farming for MONTH scroll like malice axe, battler or GOV. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. Daoc was a great game for the time. But it had plenty of flaw. Buffbot,RADAR/CHEATER/TOA and unbalanced and overpowered class like no other mmorpg. You had to be doublefrosted by a shadowblade before 1.62 to know what I am talking about or had to play during the stungard era. People from the current era of mmorpg might look at this and think '' This look boring and slow''. But it was actually very rewarding and fun stunning someone and pummeling them with your best back style chain wielding your big ass large weapons(Yes you guessed it. My main was a hero) Group pvp was really strict on equal ground and making a little mistake could cost you the fight. Because anyone could be almost instantly killed. So you had to be good at your own role. More so than any other mmo I have ever played. Now MMO developper think that being twitchy make for great, fun and challenging pvp. No. It not. Daoc had an awesome melee/magic mechanic and it piss me off that nobody tried to do something similiar.

No. This video is pre LA nerf which happened in 2003 during 1.62 or 1.61 patch. This video is before 1.61 because you can't see the sprint icon on top

Mhmm No. Probably The only way to show more skill playing a stealther during those patches was by playing an infi and messing around with vanish re-PA. The only better stealther video in OF pre TOA is an infi video from vortigern server in 1.60. rr10 44crit 50 trust. Ithilien was the player but I think that after 16 years is lost
