adding the loving spirit to cart. Wow, it's amazing how much she wrote! Jamaica Inn also was giving Wuthering Heights. I just realized that I haven't read a multi-generational book since East of Eden. I have 2 other books with "sagas" like the Forsythe Saga by Galsworthy and North Woods (doing its rounds) but I keep avoiding them. I think I'm scared of getting attached to some characters and then the rest of the book not being about them. Julius sounds good too, damn it Connor! What are you doing to my reading list!!!

well now i will have to add both of those to my tbr! you honestly cant go wrong with du maurier, the only book of hers that i havent loved is 'the house on the strand' but it was still three stars.

Did i like Wuthering Heights? No. But will i read Loving Spirits bc it’s by Daphne du Maurier? Yes
