They were the most satisfying romance to ever see on screen. Their relationship felt very real from the start all the way to the end. Everyone got what they wanted when these two finally tied the knot.

totally! He's too kind hearted and it's sad how Maris and Mel took advantage of his kindness and emotionally abused him.

That episode where they relentlessly tease Roz for mistakenly thinking they were offering a menage a trois really shows Niles at his best and happiest, lighthearted and fun and full of good humor. Such a beautiful indicator of how Daphne brings out the best in him and he’s finally with the right person.

@@CCoburn3 I do see where you're coming from, in a lot of ways Niles and Daphne made the show what it was. I'm a big fan of both Seinfeld and Frasier (the shows), and I think a similar dynamic applied to Seinfeld. Jerry did a great job as the main character, he was (to borrow the same term I used to describe Frasier's character in his show) "the glue" that held everything together... his performance was great and he bounced off the supporting cast extremely well, not unlike Frasier Crane. That said, few would deny that Kramer and George---some might include Elaine as well---were the fan favorites in terms of overall character performance. That's not to take anything away from Jerry, the show simply would not work the way it did without him as the anchor. I consider Frasier's character to have the same legacy.
@CCoburn3 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelcoletta4547 It appears to be that way in quite a few shows. MASH would not have been the same without Hawkeye, but he was probably the least interesting character on the show.

I always thought she must have had some sort of feelings for him but never considered them because (with him being such a snob) she wouldn’t think he would ever even look at her. I mean she was instantly in love with him as soon as she found out about his feelings, so she must have had some feelings of her own
