Trust in god, he is our healer. I have recovered from such paralysing depression where I had voices in my head telling me to end things. I still get depression sometimes but its no so extreme and is manageable. Reading some of the Psalms is helpful, remembering that Jesus suffered for us makes us not feel alone in our pain.
