for a long time i pretty much abandoned christian music because it all sounded alike and it was all so slow. there were gems like dctalk and i've stayed with those guys all along and still love them. now i go on youtube to find new artists (new to me!) who have the unusual voice or sound. i found jamie grace through tobymac and now i found you through jamie grace. thanks for being part of the bigger sound of christian music that's out there these days. sorry this was so long. :)

The message is beautiful as is the music and the video. Not many know how to make a simple session work like this. The rhythm section is crazy tight while that Fender Rhodes makes it happen as a perfect compliment to your voice Dara. Smokey smooth and jazzy, modern yet retro, complex yet simple with everything in moderation and right where it belongs with the lighting natural its perfect. I like the feel of this song as much as the significance. Wow! I carried around excess baggage for years, and can attest that life is so much better, more liberating and 'light', without those suitcases. Thanks for putting your thoughts and your experience to music. You sing from a deep place that says you have been there, and I appreciate the transparency and authenticity.
