it was like 3-4 years ago Hellhammer played with Dimmu, after hellhammer played Tony Laureno, and now it's Daray, the ex drummer from Vader. Tony laureno has also played with Dimmu before Hellhammer did. Hellhammer recorded the album In Sorte Diaboli.

You can't deside if a drummer is good looking at how fast he can play! Sure, I could learn to do blast beats in 200bpm, but I wouldn't be any good except playing blast beats. I also think Nick Barker is Dimmu's best drummer of all time because I like his style, and by the way: he's much faster than Hellhammer! Just listen to Blessing Upon The Throne Of Tyranny or Sympozium or any other track on the album! It's god damn fantastic! Hellhammer is good, Barker is god! End of story, my friend!

For all asking about why Tony left: Tony Laureano was never the official drummer of Dimmu Borgir, he was only a tour-drummer and jumped in now and then as a backup for Jan Axel (Hellhammer). But since Hellhammer got a serious neck/shoulder injury and also became a father he had to jump out and Tony jumped in instead, but only MEANWHILE. Tony never did any studio recording, but now they have a studio drummer (Daray) that also performs live, so there's no need to keep Tony (only as a backup).

I have seen and met Hell hammer and Nick Barker. Seen them play live several times...nick is a better drummer, better composition, more technical, better cymbal comp. Hellhammer has basically speed. Nick is a composer behind the Kit. TehBeatMasta....of course I'm talking about Nick. But Travis Barker(only with the aquabats) is a great drummer, he blows ass with blink 182
