DARBARI KANADA RAAGAM|Classical and Film songs by Raaga Sparks

Every song that you hear in any language has a basic element - THE RAGA. Every song is based on a RAGA. We take one Raga in each episode and discuss the nuances of how it has been handled in both the Carnatic and Cinema world.
DARBARI KANADA is a raga in the Kanada family, which is thought to have originated in Carnatic music and brought into Hindustani classical music by Miyan Tansen, the legendary 16th-century composer in emperor Akbar's court. This tradition is reflected in the name itself; Darbar is the Persian derived word in Hindi meaning "court."
Darbari is a grave raga, played deep into the night, considered to be one of the more difficult to master, and with the potential for profound emotional impact. Darbari is a very serious raga and hence, slow and elaborate meend and andolan are generally more preferred than light and frivolous ornamentations like murki or khatka. The improvisation of Darbari is done more in the mandra saptak, or lower octave.

For popular ragas maybe you can have multiple parts for videos ? 2) Can you just show an image of piano notes for Arohanam and Avarohanam for the raga taken ? 3) Can you give a primer of the terms you use related to Carnatic raga ? (Eg: Thaanam, Keerthanam, Geetham etc.) This will really help people like me from western classical background understand better.
