I've been having lessons with Omar for about 10 months now. Believe me, you will improve if you follow his instruction. He is an amazing musician and has a masterful understanding of Darbuka technique and percussion in general. He is also a great teacher and is able to easily identify problems and show you how to improve your technique and enjoy your darbuka journey.

I love the breakdown--All the angles, fine points, notation and a speed that I can play along with (tho I am still working on the counting). You are a great teacher! Thank you so much!

I love the piano sound, it's the main instrument for all, that's why piano is learned to any instrument you choose. You have basses mids and altos to compose everything
