Sting, Darby and OC make a great trio. What a time to be a wrestling fan. Sting! The guy from WCW in the 90's. Such an honor to see him in action. Shoutout as well to the Butcher, Blade and Kip. They make a match look brutal and those moves look so easy but I know they're hard.

I appreciate how they're giving him the honors, but the sequence when he's no-selling the double-team from B&B without even dropping the sharpshooter doesn't do B&B any favors. It makes them look incredibly weak at a time where AEW is sorely lacking in heel tag teams.

@@jonpike9502 well, I’m not going to complain, as some older fans usually do, that the wrestling was better in the past, but Darby and Cassidy, tbh, look more like street punks than wrestlers. They don’t even seem to care to get in shape. I have to use as much suspension of disbelief as is humanly possible to see them as wrestlers. I hate celeb wrestlers, but, in comparison, Logan Paul, who seems to appeal to the same “tiktoker” fan base, at least trying to be menacing.

And when the likes of Darby even just stand next to Sting, who turned 64! on the 20th this March, the comparison is not in their favor, to put it mildly. And when you look less fit than a 64-year-old, I think, you’re in trouble, from your career standpoint. Sting dwarfs them just by standing next to them, that’s how it looks. But maybe that was the whole point of the angle, I don't know. :)

This was a great Trios contest, I'm continuing to love the development of Darby Allin throughout his ups and downs, his resiliency is what I love the most. Darby brings a lot to table from a persona stand point, and will continue to fight for what he feels like he deserves. Darby may not be the biggest guy in the yard, he's a lightweight but I have no doubt in my mind Darby Allin will be AEW World Heavyweight Champion one day, because heart for profession is what matters ultimately more than weight class.

I'd say Darby having a good old stare at the banner there pretty much confirms that's the Double or Nothing Main Event. I wondered if they'd just do it sooner but it definitely seems like they're going to give it the proper build which is great, will give a huge boost to all 3 guys challenging, develop them more and it's a different type of feud for Max too.

I prefer orange just as a guy who takes punishment more than anything. He did what he should here. A small comeback. Then got beat up. I thinks it's more believable that way.
