Dear Darsisile I wish you the best regarding the hurricane and I hope you can hunker down and stay safe and by the way I have been in South Florida years ago with my honey bees and seen at least one stone house seemingly built to withstand a hurricane and it was not even occupied so I hope you can stay safe some way from this storm and maybe build a rock or cement shelter to withstand hurricanes ASAP

You can’t run from water. If you don’t make it please don’t ask the first responders to save you. They would have evacuated if they could. That’s how you know it’s time to go. Ask them where their families are.

I will ask for help if need it, that’s their job nobody forced them to sign up for it. I am staying I hack my thick wet suit on and plenty of scuba tanks filled with air if I get swept out to sea, I have my underwater propulsion device attached just in case I have to swim miles to shore along with my compass and gps. I will be fine even if the worse happens
