I know this casting of "Lizzie" (Elizabeth Bennet Darcy) was done by a very accomplished actress but she looked tired and worn out throughout this production. The man cast as Darcy, on the other hand, I thought had the character spot on. This supposedly takes place 5 years after Lizzie and Darcy married, and she was perhaps 21 when they married, so at most Lizzie would have been 26 going on 27 at the time this "story" occurred. She looks more like she's in her early 40s and a mother of 8 kids than a 27 year old woman. Too bad, because it was a good storyline, but I just could NOT get past the casting of this actress as Elizabeth Bennet Darcy.

I agree, wrong Elizabeth cast. I wouldn’t watch because of it. The actress must be the wife or daughter of someone producing the show.
