Everything need training/schooling by those gifted, talented exposed or skilled/trained for relevance direction /guidance or maximization. This notion of saying doing things the natural way and it should not be taught to me it brings more harm than good. Apostle Paul addressed this seemingly legalistic and static mindset in, Philippians 4:8. Whatever is excellent, prudent etc... If you listen carefully the two guests were actually giving different explanations, the idea is not debate but discussion , there is no one answer to these questions. Debate unfortunately wastes time because someone needs the last day, yet in most cases you are saying the same thing in different ways , in principle the point is the same, but what is important is to have it from different angles so that more people relate. I am simply saying there are disagreeing without emphasizing the disagreement part, which is what debate does, because in debate there has to be a winner of the topic. This is a discussion , if you listen carefully there are both expressing their points in slightly different ways, marufu is touching other aspects joe Daniels is not and vice versa, it is still enriching , because in principle they are agreeing but their understanding of the issues by virtue of them having different life experiences and schooling they are not giving identical answers ... The fact that you prefer debate is what prompted me to say you are looking for a kind of energy and vigour that traditional debate brings , like I said people go back and forth on one point in debate, they can get emotional. I have studied a lot of debates, in most cases people are saying the same thing in different ways , they just want the next person to use their same words to an issue, or sometimes you are just not understanding what the other person is trying to say because you are hell bent on making your point. Generally we are not good listeners and even readers. Sometimes you may need to read a message three times and look at a possible 3 different meanings from the same message to understand what the other person is saying , but the moment you pick that maybe I am disagreeing with you , you end up reading the whole passage already engulfed in your own thoughts waiting to reply, or you end up picking one part of a whole passage and extract it then respond to it, but neglecting the whole context of the passage , the same thing all these prophets do with bible verses, they run away from the context of the whole bible and focus on their own narratives.

Why should we debate if there is no answer , if there is no one size fits all. Because both answers can apply so what is there to debate, we can only discuss, like when they started marufu talked about forgiveness needing divine intervention. Joe Daniels went further and explained the processes in between before divine intervention, he expanded the response to break it down more and explain the role of the forgiver in healing in order to connect with the divine, so that is enriching , instead of them debating that no forgiveness needs healing and not divine intervention. In debate we tend to deliberately avoid agreeing even on issues we agree so that one of us appears more knowledgeable , people end up disagreeing for the sake of it, most debates end up being petty. A mature debate is exactly what is happening here, there are saying their point in different ways , and they are both learning from each other. These issues require discussions, so that we all get an opportunity to learn a thing or two ... It is simply iron sharpening iron. Like I said before these things have no one answer. If we debate who is going to determine the winner, who are the judges and what are the parameters for assessment. Let us discuss and not debate.

Phatisani's question about divorce was very good but wasn't complete and so was answered incorrectly. The question is about marriage and divorce and marrying again. God hates divorce but people are free to divorce if they can't stay together but remarrying is where the problem is. The only recorded reason for divorcing and marrying again is fornication not adultery. The apostle erred there. Fornication and adultery are one same act but the player status is what makes the difference. Mathew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for *fornication,* and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. The issue is on marrying another. Divorce for your own reasons apart from fornication but stay single until the other part dies.

I don't think they disagree with your point that everyone should be faithful, there is no point they suggested that men can be unfaithful, truth be told, the way we are structured a family that holds and goes the distance more often than not has a strong woman, the strength of a woman and that of a man are different, notwithstanding some outliers. No matter how hard we try, we will never change how we were designed, man and woman are not the same, they were created to complement each other. The do have similarities but they also have differences, so we are not carbon copy we are different by design and we must embrace that and co - exist and not try to substitute each other. That structure does not hold of women who want be like men, and men who want to be like women, we are doomed as a people once it gets there.
