So sorry you had a tumble, but glad all is well. Enjoy your hard earned Dr. Pepper! Changed my workout this week. Usually run 5+ minutes and walk 45 seconds. Longest run for me is never beyond 16 miles. I have been averaging 10 miles a day for the last ten days. Changed to running at 196 BPM for a minute and walking 39 seconds. I did 9 miles yesterday and 10 today. Not tired a bit. This may be my new Goofy. Time wise, it wasn't any slower than more running. After Dopey you may want to give something like this a try. Best of luck at WDW. I will keep an eye out for you on the course. Hug Gus before you leave home.

Was that black ice? Take care and Merry Christmas.
@RunningInMakeup15 күн бұрын
No black ice, just a super slicked area on an elevated surface.

Thank you, as always, for sharing your journey. It’s always refreshing to see someone else have real moments throughout training. Training is hard and has so many ups and downs.

I hope your hip and ankle are okay. May I ask what you use to pace your run/walk time?

How do you get your walking miles so fast?
@RunningInMakeup15 күн бұрын
Practice. Also shortening the stride. It takes a lot of getting used to but it’s just like running- you just train to do it.
