The death of Julie is the most desturbing to me. She tried to help Dex despite of him being a creap. She was very innocent. She didnt even know why she was being killed. It always hit me hard when I rewatch Daredevil.

i know....what you saying... it's just like how in breaking bad todd killed sara.... imagine u minding your own business, living your life, making good work, taking care of people and family and then you meet one guy for like less than 2 days and you find yourself in plastic wrap and a gun comes for a split of a second and next thing your know your body has lost control and as you simmer down into darkness eyes are still capturing those last moment of getting wrapped. damnnnn i have one doctor friend who said tv shows are stupid. when you shoot someone in head at point blank the body doesn't fall dead, the body goes through seizure.

Felt so bad for Nadeem. He always wanted to do the right thing, he was just too naive and desperate in the beginning to even think he was being played. If you remember, Ben Urich also was killed in the penultimate episode of season 1 right before he was going to expose Fisk.

Disney didn't "buy" them, they woukd automatically belong to Disney 2 or 3 years after cancellation. What happenned was Netflix refusing to continue thinking it'd hurt Disney and punish them for their own streaming

Actually, development had started on the fourth season, but Disney was starting to refocus all it's stuff to its own streaming service, so they cancelled everything that was on another service without warning. It's killed plenty of decent shows like Daredevil, The Gifted, Cloak and Dagger, The Runaways. It's why I have bad feelings about Daredevil: Born Again. They didn't bring back the old crew that truly made the show what it was. They just brought in new guys. It's disrespectful, given Disney has more than enough money to have brought them back.

withthe stuff they have been recently upto (not that they are bad) but yeah doesn't feel like it will be same. I watch Marvel stuff now just because it's marvel and I want to follow the storyline. The actual interest in which I was excited about the story was the Avengers movies. After a longtime when I recently started watching Daredevil it made me have actual interest in the show and it's storyline and I completed all 3 seasons in a blink.

Netflix never owned anything Marvel it only had exclusive distribution rights through limited licensing for as long as they paid up the wazoo to Disney Marvel to make the shows. This is why this has been the only recast that I have heard that threw me in Born Again. I had just thought we might just leave Vanessa off the board because she is more dangerous than Fisk. I have a feeling this would have been thr exception of Netflix's 3 season thing, but the talk of how Marvel was going to be part of Disney's new streaming service had just started. I believe Jessica Jones second season was the last of these and then there was going to be a three year moratorium on the use of any of these characters. But to give you something to look forward to, I personally think the way this season ends, if things continued like that, then a more light hearted Matt that we saw in She Hulk like eight years later would make sense.

Clearly, Vanessa has been down with the mafia/gangsta lifestyle since season 1. She hasn't taken over operations. She made 1 “order”. Vanessa was an influence on he way he handled "business" & a part of Fisk's downfall ever since Wilson bought that painting. Kingpin said it in his monologue about love being a prison. A powerful man's kryptonite is his "love" for his woman. She clouded his vision & became his weakness. Making him vulnerable to all types of outside forces. She wasn't the one planning on how to get Kingpin back on top of the underworld. She enjoyed the luxuries of his wealth overseas for 2 years while he risked his empire to keep her safe.

"What up Braw" "What up Kirk" - some kind of poetic justice that Dexter "nudges" Vanessa over the brink here, even by accident - IMO Fisk isn't quite sure how he feels about Vanessa's shift; he's processing it - probably a sexual rush for him in the moment, "sharing" - but it throws their dynamic off balance - it could play out a number of ways - if Vanessa was aware, then IMO she showed this side of herself too soon

20:16 that's everyone's POV because no one knows or the show didn't reveal what's vanessa's real deal is. all we know she use to work at art gallery. what's important is right on 2nd date with wilson vanessa had a gun in her purse. for someone that Posch and related to art how was she able to get hold on to a weapon. also her demeanor when she figured what wilson is and does. she wasn't scared or shocked. even now she is on and about all over into wilson's work and methods. that clearly means one thing. vanessa's father was some sort of italian mafia or crime lord. who died and left huge money asset for vanessa. the way she behaves in wilson's presence she sees her family in it.

Hey Achara, Steph, u both look beautiful by the way, luving ur channel and this journey with u both..what an episode..yeah i was surprised that u were surprised about Vanessa, she is a straight up villian, thats why she was cool with the life Wilson leads..they deserve each other..i agree on how good this Season is.. probably best comic book season of tv that was ever made..Dex is a a great equal for Matt, a Sociopathic killing machine...Only down side for me was Matt not wearing his Daredevil suit which annoyed me but otherwise phenomenal tv, such great writing...I am also looking forward to Daredevil MCU show that also has Wilson Fisk and Punisher played by same actors in it. It will be sort of a reboot of this, with them having more fantastical abilities but unfortunately no Karen and Foggie which i have heard are not from the comics so i get it. I just hope it doesnt get too Disnyfied and still stays a little dark and gritty! Hope u enjoy the ending, it was a pretty good ending that they were able to sum up in one episode..Much luv from Ireland💚

I mean it's self defense trust me I'm fine with it, obviously.. but I did find it interesting having DD point to literal locations and INSISTING he shoot.. is that different than DD shooting those guys? I dont think so, yet they know not to just have DD grab the gun himself and shoot with the equivalent of a good look and have the officer shoot blind surrounded by innocent people in the middle of traffic, because people would have a big problem with it...

Haha _(Just gonna be real rn, and hope it doesn't offend anyone)_ Vanessa was literally unhappy because she wasn't included in Fisk's whole crime boss life, and wanted to call the shots (aka kill people) like Wilson. Make no mistake, sending Dex to kill Nadeem was HER idea. She's literally just as twisted as Fisk is--which we saw from the beginning--but somehow that just seemed to make Steph all the more in love with her, based on her own words, and the fact that she seemed like she was getting the hots for Vanessa when she suggested killing Nadeem... Lol My point is that they seem to love that about her, but are clearly disgusted by Fisk at the same time...? How does that make sense when they are basically one in the same? The murderous men are evil psychotic scumbags, but the women who're equally psychotic scumbag murderers, ARE at least acknowledged as murderers, but are simultaneously given praise for it; as that's what they love about those characters. It just puzzles me, is all. Elektra was a coldblooded murderous psychopath, who loved killing people for the thrill of it, but I've seen them both defend her, as a person, countless of times, and even admitt that she was one of their favorite characters. Dex is too a deranged psychopathic murderer, who feels complete doing what he does best: Killing with extreme precision. Despite this, and understanding his backstory of why he is the way he is, they have both expressed a strong distaste for him as a person and a character. I'm just curious as to why that is? It's a valid question, which anyone is welcome to answer in a calm and respectable manner. I'd like to know what I said (if anything) was inaccurate, and why it was. More factually valid examples, like what I've given, and less personal feelings is preferred; regarding whoever's going to tell me what I'm wrong about. *Small Disclaimer:* My intention is never to personally offend anyone. I consider us all friendly adults here, and mean nothing personal to anyone ofc. I believe there should be nothing wrong with a little respectful criticism, and having the ability to sit down, have civil discourse from it, and finding common ground, despite our disagreements. It may be as simple as media often portrays 'bad girls' as sexy (i.e. there's a fairly one-dimensional aspect to how they are judged) - males are not portrayed the same way. Not that any of the 'bad' characters on this show are actually one-dimensional, more that it's a function of how us as audience are trained to see things.
