So last night, I finished the entire season of Daredevil out on Netflix. Let me just say, WOW. I've always loved Marvel and Daredevil, but weirdly enough I had no idea they were making a show. Until I saw the trailer on tv over spring break. Two days ago, I started watching, and I finished super quickly. Daredevil is ridiculously good. It's so character driven and intense and risky. Ahh.
I decided to vid the chaos and darkness of the series and its characters. If this video makes no sense to you, good. That's how it's supposed to be. Happy watching!

John Curcio What I love about Fisk's character in particular is the ambiguity surrounding his motivations for rebuilding Hell's Kitchen. He says he want's to make the city a better place, but for whom his doing this for? Does he genuinely care about the people of his city? Or is he doing this for himself? You make a strong argument for either. I read it as, he wants to tear down Hell's Kitchen because it is a manifestation of everything he hated about his father. Whats especially tragic is he tries to convince himself that he's not like his father and that he isn't "cruel for the sake of cruelty". By the end of the series though he seems to finally own that he is the "ill intent". The question is, was he always this way? Did his father's abuse wipe away his humanity, or was he driven to becoming the "ill intent" when his dream of seeing Hell's Kitchen rebuilt came crumbling down around him?

As soon as those lyrics played, it reminded me so much of Daredevil I had to go check out what it was... And it turned out to be the daredevil trailer song. That's what I call good music choice :D

The coolest thing is that it works for many of the character pairings on Daredevil, especially in season 2, because there are so many parallels between them. It obviously works for Matt and Frank, but also Matt and Elektra, Matt and Karen, Karen and Frank, even Matt and Stick.

Ok i think people underestimate the absolute fuck outta daredevil, it is literally stated he is at least the top 5th fighter in whole of marvel which alone is incredibly impressive because of the competition. Then it is also stated his senses are much better than spidermans and has trained to completely master them. As well as he beat captain america who is A LITERAL AVENGER. Then he even got a invitation to be an avenger which he declined, he is no doubt one of if not my favourite marvel hero. Hes amazing. And also great edit dude.

Many people have beaten Captain America, he's the third weakest Avenger only above Hawkeye and Black Widow. Like I get you like him and all, but I don't get why people always try to highball how strong their character is just because they like him. A character doesn't have to be really strong to be a good character, a character can be weak and still be cool.

Great tribute!This song fits the show perfectly,showing how Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk may be enemies with different worldviews and methods but ultimately they`re both out to save Hell`s Kitchen at least at first.They also both initially operate from the shadows for different reasons.The hero and villain reflecting each other has been done before but rarely so expertly as here.
