Judging from this, the biggest reason this movie ended up being so terrible was how insecure higher-ups were about it. They were too scared people wouldn't think it was cool, too scared it'd be similar to Spider-Man. Who gives a fuck? The show succeeded where this failed because those creators actually loved the character for what he is.

For those 1980’s fans- the fact they got a class act like David Keith to play Battlin Jack Murdock (here called Jack “The Devil” Murdock) to come and turn what was maybe a 5 minute cameo into a memorable performance…that’s art to me. He hadn’t changed much and I legit believed he was the hard as nails boxing 🥊 champ as well as loving dad. Thanks for this, David Keith! 😎 you the man!

If they were inspired by the biker outfits, they should've went with a design that was more tactile. Include some more buckles, but also add some other pieces of fabric, incorporate patterns and add some different textures so the suit looks more rugged. It sorta looks like a flamboyant club outfit mixed with a theme of BDSM with how the leather shines and the smoothness of the whole costume. Also, the cowl should've never exposed that much of the jaw, chin and covered the neck. It looked like it envoked a more a "playful" vibe than something serious and threatening.

In the early 2000s the only real big comparison point was X-Men and that's exactly what they did with their suits and it looks fine.
