Daredevil's senses are basically sonar, if there's enough sound waves producing vibration he can see the world as shadows in 360 degrees, his reflexes and balance are generally faster and better than even Spider-Man's however he lacks his strength and healing abilities.

Umm nah i dont think Matt is faster than Spidey. Especially in the comics Spider-man has above human agility and his Spidey sense is basically premonition, so he can react before the thing even happens. I really love Daredevil but Spidey just has him beat on physical abilities.

Fun fact...in the Turtle comics The chemical that caused matt to go blind also heightened his other senses, but it also washed down the drains to create the mutant hero turtles in the same accident but we never see them in this show thank god.

It’s crazy how good this show in particular is. Some of the other Netflix shows are okay but nothing touches the utter craft in Daredevil. The writing, the story development, the directing, the fight choreography, etc. It’s VERY dark compared to the Disney+ shows, but everyone is so hyped that this version of Daredevil is officially in the MCU now. These shows were cancelled when Disney+ launched

I really enjoyed JJ season 1, Krysten Ritter was good, David Tennant was phenomenal and I liked the themes it explored and showcasing how horrifying mind control can be. Season 2 killed my interest in the series but I would love to see Jessica make the jump to the Disney Plus shows. Luke Cage I liked but season 2 was a let down. I’m not really a Punisher fan but enjoyed both seasons well enough even if I thought season 1 left Frank at a good enough spot that I would have been satisfied with that ending Anything that I could say about Iron Fist has already been said (the worst, Colleen wasn’t too bad though, skipped season 2, etc)

YES! Daredevil is my favorite Marvel superhero so I was ecstatic when it was announced he’d be getting his own Netflix series and was even happier when it ended up being better than the previous film adaptation. The series debuted on the day my last college assignment was due so it was a nice reward. Can’t wait for you to see the rest of the show 🙂

The "incident" the real estate agent was talking about is the destruction from the aliens invading in the first Avengers movie. They caused crazy destruction that the bad guy's are taking advantage of - buying up property for nothing, the Kingpin taking over crime city-wide. It really shows how everyday people get screwed after the superheroes fly away.

Netflix Daredevil was one of the most incredible shows made! I was surprised D+ moved it over in its entirety because it such a dark and violent show. They're going to relaunch the Daredevil series under Disney and hopefully they keep a lot of this intact. It's hard to beat the Netflix show.

Interesting to note, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were originally something of a parody of Daredevil. In the original comic book, the turtles were hit by the same ooze that blinded a young Daredevil (just off screen if you will). There’s more that links them, but that might get into spoiler territory.

Daredevil is fairly different from the comics. His senses are truly superhuman. It's his legit superpower, but he is otherwise just human. In the comics he's a much better fighter; nearly Captain America level where thugs would never lay a glove on him. Also in the comics he has a 360-degree radar sense that lets him detect anything near him. You may remember him catching the brick in Spider-Man: No Way Home; that's more like the comics. This takes a more grounded approach with him being much less powerful.

These shows are great, they provided the MCU with something desperately needed, superheroes directly fighting crime on the streets and protecting their communities. World ending events are cool, but they are a weekly occurrence in the MCU at this point, this street level action is very refreshing. Captain America is a super soldier Black Widow has plenty of weapons and espionage technology Bucky has plenty of augmentations and weapons as well Etc. etc. The main contrast for this series and the reason why it’s fight scenes are so different from the rest of the Marvel properties you’ve seen so far, is that Daredevil is the first actual Marvel character you’ve come across where he’s got no superfluous extras other than “blind guy with great hearing and martial arts”. So it’s natural that they’d take the time and effort into making the fight scenes for this series so well choreographed and weighted tbh. It still deserves loads of praise though

The other Defenders shows are worth checking out (and least if you want to be prepared for the Defendders miniseries and Daredevil Season 3) although some shows and seasons are much better than others. Besides the entirety of Daredevil, I enjoyed the first seasons of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Punishers. I honestly can’t recommend Iron Fist but it does provide most of the set up for Defenders

I'd love if you did Agents of SHIELD one day. Primate we been telling ya! Lol. This was the first big budget Marvel show in the MCU. Agents of Shield was okay but it had many episodes with the money stretched out. For most people this still remains the best Marvel show ever. Season 3 is my 3rd favorite season of TV ever. Breaking Bad season 5, Game of Thrones season 4, and then Daredvile Season 3. And by the end of the year you will have seen both! You're about to be spoiled bro!

Yes, Netflix DareDevil! You are in for a dark show with strong fight choreography. Just wait until this series gets going. I'm looking forward to your DD journey. The Netflix Marvel series vary greatly in quality. The best IMO are must watches - DareDevil (all 3 seasons), Punisher (all 2 seasons), & Jessica Jones (Season 1 of 3 seasons). Which ever ones you can make time to watch, make certain they are in release order. NOTE: Events of "The Defenders" takes place between DD s2 & s3. If your time is limited, then at least a summary of Defenders will be needed before DD season 3.
