You know, that bicep problem is rather easy to fix. Get yourself some brush on crazy glue and apply a light coat to the pin that inserts into the bicep piece. Once it's dry it basically acts as a varnish which makes it slightly thicker and more durable. Heat the arm up and pop it back on. Once it's cool it should be nice and tight!

Yea same here I feel the need head sculpt he's kind of smiling which is weird cause this version f batman doesn't smile while he's got the batsuit on lol I think the first one was better looked more serious

Guy Webz the bruce wayne head sculpt isn't bad for this figure I just had a little bit of sloppy paint work in it. the main reasons I got this figure when it was released is cause of the 2 new head sculpts

The mafex dawn of Justice figures look awesome. Not looking forward to the movie at all but the figures look good so far so we shall see. I'm a little hesitant

The MAFEX BvS do look Great! It seems like they have been fixing past issues they've had with their figures cause I got the MAFEX Vader and that one is great no problems like with 2.0 batman and I heard the MAFEX catwoman figure breaks very easily too

Nice honest review. thumbs up! mine has similar problems out of the packaging. detached belt buckle, sloppy paint job on two of the headsculpts, a broken wrist peg, and small cuts on the cape >.< definitely not recommended. get the first version, still has problems, but it's a lot better regarding qc and better headsculpt imo.

I kno it's a really disappointing cause I was looking forward to this figure but they definitely dropped the ball with this one. It's like they half assed it when making this figure and I have been hearing a lot of people had the wrist peg breaking in them right out the box which is a shame u pay a good price for this figure and it's not right that pieces are breaking and u said ur cape has cuts in too that's just unacceptable for someone spending their hard earned money on mafexs product. I think I'm gonna stay away from mafex I might just buy the batpod to see how it is cause I wanted to get it for my first release batman figure hopefully that's atleast cool once I get it I'll have a review up. And thanks a lot appreciate the comment too I try to give honest opinions about figures some people agree some people won't that's the whole thing about reviewing stuff. glad u liked the review appreciate it

DareDevil 19 even though the batman 2.0 is a dissapointment, the mafex batpod is awesome. Mine comes without any problems. details and paint is just like hot toys quality minus the light up function. hope you get it soon! i'll be waiting for the review :)

The Joker one is very good but this one isn't as loved I've noticed. But I still have to buy it otherwise I only have the joker or I have to buy one which isn't at a same size. :(

I would buy the first Ver batman. DO NOT get this one trust me lol it's going to break or give u some sort of other problems. I've owned 2 of the Ver 2.0 and they've broke and giving me problems. I've owned 3 of the first Ver batman's and neither of them ever broke or gave me issues besides the shoulder joints popping off to easily but u can just pop them back on. Just trying to save u from wasting ur money on this 2.0 Ver and to get the first Ver instead lol

I agreed DD. I just received it by EMS yesterday. Guess what, the pin of left hand wrist pivot joint broke after 15 mins unboxing it! It happened because that pivot joint won't rotate as it should, when I continued to apply pressure to make the joint rotate then it broke.What the hell! Same here, never medicom again.

I feel like they use cheap plastics n materials for the figure even the first release one a lot of people been telling me it's been breaking in them but the 2.0 version is brand new and it's just unacceptable with everyone having these problems with this figure. And yea we should stay away from mafex they're just not doing the right thing for us we spend our hard earned money on something very cheaply made. I'm just gonna stick with sh Figuarts for now on lol figma isn't too bad either but Figuarts I've never had problems really with their figures at all now that I think about it. DareDevil 19 everything you said about this figure I agreed with been plotting on getting it for a while but you just confirm my suspicions. I'm gonna still get it but I'm going to buy it at my own risk because at this point I should have no better with all the b's that comes along with this figure especially for that price. Great review.

Truthfully it would be a great figure it was just made very poorly like three was no care into making the figure which is a big disappointment. Hopefully you'll get one that isn't too messed up lol I ended up fading mine for a first release mafex batman figure I like that one a lot better and thank u appreciate it

I've seen someone use like these soft material washers not the metal ones it was like a fabric. I forgot exactly how he did I remember looking at his post on agelessgeeks Facebook page. People are always posting random stuff like that how to fix certain things on figures. After he did that he said that batm and arms didn't pop off anymore

Haha the jokes on you my batmans head was so stiff it broke the socket as soon as I removed it from the box 😂 also my bicep swivel doesn't twist at all which prevents his arm falling off... and his left knee is really loose, I had to replace all the parts from the mafex 1 batman, can't say I was very impressed lol

Lol horribly made figure. Mafex really screwed this figure up even their Mafex joker wasn't even that good. I traded this batman figure for the first release one I'd rather have that one. Sucks that u had that many problems with ur ver. 2 figure

Right after seeing prototype images of this figure, I knew I won't like it especially the face cuz it looks even more smiley than the actual one, plus, the skin is tanned

I want to get this guy but I don't want to regret it cause I have the first one and his arms are really loose and pop out so easily and I cant really get him in any good poses without them falling out, is this one better by any chances?

They fixed the shoulder joints so they don't pop out buttttttt now the arms fall apart at the bicep popping out and this ver.2.0 just has too many issues. The MAFEX batman u have is a lot better than this one. I wouldnt bother wasting ur money

Mines neck joint was on too tight and doing a head swap, after first time opening it, the ball joint broke just bs it really sucks

Same thing happened to another one I recently purchased. It's very very disappointing they really made these Ver 2.0 batman's like junk. Atleast now they are fixing mistakes they've had with past figures. Hoping they keep doing the right thing and make these figures right

Man you got the worst luck with mafex. I got this batman about a month ago and have had zero problems with it. Same goes for my spiderman and joker. Either that or I have the best luck.

MAFEX had lots of quality control issues. They've gotten better but when buying any of those figures u mentioned its a gamble not so much the joker figure but I did buy this Ver. 2.0 batman again not too long ago and guess what lol the neck joint snap right off out of the package lol

I honestly feel bad for you lol. I mean do the guys who ship your batman just play soccer with it or something? But I do agree that there have been many QC issues from all the people I have read reviews on. To me if your figure has no issues its amazing. I'm thinking about pushing my luck with the cat women. If it breaks Ill just glue the pieces on and put it on the bat pod. If it doesn't break ill still probably end up putting it on it. And I just have a question, is your darth vader loose? Its cause my joker is loose in some of the arm joints and same is starting with my spider man and batman and I want to know if that is happening to Vader since it allegedly is an improvement. Also if you know how to fix loose joints. I'm thinking about putting it in the fridge for a while but I'm afraid of the bendy wire in the batman capes.

The leg broke off my mafex version one batman right at the hip. The peg the leg snaps onto. so was thinking of getting a version 2. I'll just get the Bandai Batman instead and skip the movie versions

I've been hearing this happening to people's first release mafex batman figure. So maybe mafex just isn't making their figures correctly even my amazing Spiderman 2 figure his arm broke off I had to crazy glue it. I don't think I'm gonna get anymore mafex figures and I was thinking the same thing just pick up the s.h. Figuarts batman figure. Also DC collectibles is making a good 6" version of their characters n the batman figure actually looks really good they're called DC icons figures. But I do prefer imports more over other figures mostly sh Figuarts maybe we'll get a batman va superman movie figures too

Hi. Very nice review. I bought this figure, and I´m very disappointed, The arm broke off, the heads doesn´t fit well and pop off, and the joints are very loose, This is my first, and will be my last Mafex figure :(

And staying away from MAFEX figures is a good idea that's what I'm gonna do for now on I might just get the batpod but that's all they just can't get it right with their figures there is always a few flaws with all their figures they've made so far

artist scotch tape helps me with some joints , u might want to try it with the head and other joints.

i used it on the torso for my mafex spiderman 2 and made the torso able to hold the weight will in web swinging poses, u should try the head ,and bicep area just a little tape. its really good tape. scotch artist tape.

Bought the first version and wasn't happy. So I returned it. I got this one thinking it would be better and to my surprise, no. I don't buy Mafex figures. Medicom should stick with the 1/6 scale. They can't do 6 inch figures.

Lol yea they really screwed up big time with this Ver. 2.0 batman the first version is better. U kno what it is MAFEX is still new especially with 5"-6" scale figures and they've been learning from their horrible mistakes and are slowly getting better. They do have a lot of potential but they need to keep at it with what their main issues are and fix those problems cause I kno they can make so good stuff they just gotta work on it so more. The MAFEX Darth Vader is a Big improvement by them compared to their earlier releases. They have a ton of stuff releasing this year so I'm hoping they keep making their figures better

I still don't have a fav batman figure cause the Figuarts one has s horrible cape that I can't stand at all but I do prefer that one over the mafex one. I but I think the new DC icons batman figure is gonna be really awesome too that one might end up being my favorite cause both mafex n Figuarts have their flaws with their batman Figures. Tamashii nations did a great job with their just that cape ruined it for me and the mafex one has too many problems with it I do like the first release mafex batman a lot better the ver. 2.0. But right now I still don't really have a favorite batman figure. I guess as of now Figuarts would be my favorite I'm gonna ask my friend to put a cloth cape on my Figuarts one then it'll be ALOOOOOTTTT better lol

I had the exact same problem with my Batman 1.0 from Mafex, the thing was so SHITTY that every single joint just fell apart. I picked him up one day and his legs, arms and torso simply fell apart. I'll never buy another Mafex as long as I live. Sadly, because they have the potential to be amazing figures. Tisk.

+Adam Gray ver 2.0 is horrible the first version is actually a lot better lol. lately mafex has been doing a much better job. I recently got their darth vader figure and its made really well I think they've been fixing their MAJOR issues that they notice has been happening so atleast they are learning from their mistakes. cause like u said they have so much potential. they can make some very nice figures they just need to construct them better

+Adam Gray they've gotten better fixing the issues they've had from this batman 2.0 to spiderman 2, catwoman n a couple others. The darth Vader one was done a lot better glad they're fixing those problems they've been having

+dylan jiwa the difference is batman 2.0 has 2 new interchangeable heads along with bendy wire in the cape. That's about it the first Ver doesn't have bendy wire in the cape or any interchangeable heads. Also Ver. 2.0 they made with such crappier cheaper plastic n the figure constantly breaks waaaayyyyy too easily along with quality control issues too. The first Ver 2-/ made with better plastic cause out of the first Ver batman's I had they never broke ever and only main issue with that one is the shoulder joints pop out too easily but u can pop them back in. Out of all the Ver. 2.0 that I had all of them including one right out Of the box when I tried to articulation the head joint it just break right off. I'd go with the first Ver if u wanted to get one of these batman's

It is a shame because the mesh detailing on the armour is excellent. But the frailty of the joints would drive me nuts. And the joint gaps between the shoulders and arms and the biceps and forearms ruin the realistic look of the armour. Almost like if you squint it looks real, but if you focus he looks ill and lost weight: like his is narrow shouldered and wearing gauntlets 3 sizes to big to hide his weedy arms. The photos of the Regular Batman and Armoured Batman from the Batman v Superman line look interesting. Still not too sure if I should pre order them. Photos can be deceiving!

+Goblin Kid lol Just be careful when u get it. If joints are stuck use the warm water trick. I went all out and preordered all the BVS figures lol hope they aren't a let down. I dont think they will be cause MAFEX has been getting better. I got one of the MAFEX boba fett's preorder I think it's the ESB one cause it released in May I think

+DareDevil 19 Yeah. Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I know they been getting better. The Boba was too hard to resist. The green looks slightly off on the armour and they need to add weathering to the rocket pack, as the prototype pics are missing these. But overall the figure looks absolutely amazing. Had to take the plunge before prices rise. Maybe I am overhyping, but it has the potential to turn out to be the best Boba in that scale. S.H. Figuarts will have a hard act to follow.

Yea they just don't put their full effort into making their figures and it's annoying when u buy a figure and it's falling apart or it breaks way to easily especially for the price u pay for it too. Id stay away from them they have too many issues with all their figures lol

This ver2 has crappy lower body. thigh , pen in his toe n belt is easily broken . his shoulder pad is crappy too.. including his upper body is broken too. it has really great potential. i have fixed this figure issues. now it's my best batman figure ever. but yes mine is not original parts anymore. it shouldn't happened when u buy expensive import figure like this.

I wish I knew how to customize and be able to do what u did with yours. I did buy another one recently and guess what lol the peg that connects to the head snapped off fresh out of the box when I tried to articulate it lol. I'm good with the first release one its one of my favorite batman figures. I just had nothing but bad luck with ver 2.0 batman but its happened to alot of people. the good thing tho is mafex had learned from their past issues with figures and are doing a much better job now

Ok. The thing is the accesories that come with the figure are very helpful. Especially the gagets and heads. What other batman figure would you recommend for stop motion.

I disagree with your review. This has to be one of the best batman I own, my first being the mezco dark knight batman. I own a decent couple of batman ranging from sh figuart injustice to play arts Kai and I gotta say this mafex 2.0 batman is top second best batman than others. My mafex 2.0 batman has no problems with the bicep falling off or belt coming apart. In fact when I purchased this one the joints were stiff and had to move the around a little to loosen them. This figure has an awesome scupt and no qa issues on mine(painting wise). The injustice batman has one of the worst derpy faces I've seen and one of the most awful plastic capes made. Another awesome thing about this mafex figure is the wired cape all figures with cape should have them(plastic capes are awful again look at the injustice batman).unfortunately I also own a couple of the play arts Kai batman(worst purchase decision ever) and its awful. The sculpt is bad the joints they use is awful(they still haven't learned qa issues galore) and worst of all the paint application is god awful(they do this shiny/gloss paint) play arts Kai truly deserve the memes made out for them god awful figures with high prices to the trash bin they go :(

Everybody's got their own opinions about figures as I said in the video some people will like this mafex batman figure some people won't. I prefer the first release batman over the 2.0 too many problems on the one I had and I just keep getting g comments of people saying they have the same problems or similar problems but I wasn't happy with my purchase of this figure that's why I gave it more of a negative review then a positive review too many problems were wrong with the figure. And it's cool u got one that didn't have problems and it would've been nice that everyone got that same type of product ya kno. And I can agree with the cape for Figuarts injustice batman I Hate hard plastic articulated capes worst design for caps for figures I like just a regular normal cloth cape I can even deal with a softer rubbery material cape but not hard plastic articulated capes. But that injustice batman is actually very well made despite the cape the paint sculpt n articulation is really awesome n I like how they put die cast through out batman a armor that's always cool to have some die cast in a figure and the one head sculpt is kinda crappy but the full masked one is really dope. But with the Figuarts batman there more positives then negatives compared to the mafex 2.0 batman.
