I love how she keeps moving the rope while shes turning at 0:31 and I hate how Viner seems upset for Dashas Gold... when with Dmitrieva she went almost crazy congratulating her...

@strengthofwill Me too. I don't know, I don't feel comfortable with this routine being the last World Championship rope routine. Especially, since the FIG is considering replacing rope with an apparatus like scarf or flags. I'd much rather see it replaced, if it had too, with a free hands exercise.

I'm actually glad Viner left. She isn't taking responsibility for the accomplishment of a gymnast she doesn't train and let Dasha and her trainer have their moment of joy without Viner butting in like she always feels she has to.

Yeah I mean now that the Russian President is expecting a baby from Russia's most famous former Rhythmic Gymnast (Kabaeva) - I would assume there would be more publicity for the sport! :-) I love the RG! I used to be a Gymnast but back in the day we didnt do anything remotely close to the difficulty level it is at now! These girls should be in Cirque du Soleil!

Very nice routine. She used the same music for hoop in 2009. But none of the two fits so well as Sessina's 2007 rope.

@TsubasaDreams WHAT! They want a replacement! If you're gonna get rid of it just get rid of it! Scarf and flags, that would be terrible! There couldn't be any risky throws with apparatus like that, you can't control where and how they land. And if the flags had poles- that has major injury written all over it! I think they should compete with all 5 apparatus together. Rope, ball, clubs, and ribbon focus on specific body difficulties and in hoop you have to show skill in each difficulty.

you would think more people would come and watch the sport since this championships is being held in moscow and all.. but its so disappointing to see that the number of spectators still hasnt increased.. this sport needs more publicity in order for more countries to train more promising gymnast and not always the eastern europeans who just dominate the sport year after year..

@strengthofwill Yeah, that was rather dismissive of Viner to get right up without at least congratulating Daria. But you know she has a lot on her mind. After all she has to make sure the scores are right for the remaining team competition, all-around, ribbon and ball apparatus final, and groups so she has a lot of calculating to do.

Kondakova is a good gymnast but as it is said she sooooo badly wants to be number one, this is why she made mistakes in AA in 3 routines!!! she has to control her emotions and she'll succeed more.

well performed, but I prefer Zhenya's routine~ Last year, Zhenya beat Kondakova in hoop with a margin of 0.1, this year Kondakova wins Zhenya in rope by 0.15~ ha Anyway, congratulation to Kondakova! :)

@buntonboy I agree with you.. That was not Zhenya's best routine. BTW, no rope nxt year, I'm really looking forward to Zhenya's clubs performance next year! :)
