I think the reason they didn’t become a couple in camp Cretaceous was because Darius never really had the chance to explore what his feelings were. He had so much in his shoulders with wanting to save the dinosaurs and keeping his friends alive and being the leader that they all look to. With that kind of burden on him, Darius couldn’t really get in touch with how he felt about Brooklyn.

I need to see what happened between them in the flashebacks ive been wanting them together since season 1 in camp cretaceous they didnt get any flashbacks like the others did with brooklynn so something obviously happened between them, Daruis knew her phone password while kenji didn't, he was obviously lying when kenji asked how long did he love her and brooklynn sent a video where she stated she didn't like sending voicemails but she sent daruis multiple which means she definitely wanted to tell him something important and daruis also said she didn't like her back but never said that she said it out of her mouth that she didn't like her back i think something happened with them and last thing she could stayed with anyone after they broke up she chose Daruis for a reason and also did the things to Daruis she did to kenji when they were together for example leaving the shoes out

I think that daruis did tell her how he felt but he assumed she didn't like her back and then when she was supposed to met with him I think she wanted to tell him how she felt because she called him multiple times texted him multiple times and sent him voice mails multiple times which she clearly said she didnt like doing so obviously she wanted to tell him something important and keep in mind that happened after brooklynn supposedly "rejected him" and daruis said nothing about her physically telling him she didn't like him back she probably had alot going on and didn't know how to respond and notice how we didn't get no flashbacks between them like the others did so obviously something definitely happened between them

I have a theory: Anyone else notice at the end of Episode 10, after Brooklynn looked at the photo of her friends, she immediately looked at her phone? Almost as if she was as expecting/hoping someone would call her back? What if that late night call Darius received in Episode 1 was actually Brooklynn?(I personally doubt it was the Atrociraptor Handler who called, since I feel she would sic her raptors on her victims without giving them a chance to respond or react.)Maybe she wanted to tell Darius something, but when he answered, she hesitated and hung up? After that, maybe she tried calling his phone, not knowing Ben threw it away, and left him a voicemail to call her back? She did seem to have a worried look on her face(and Darius did seem to be the one most focused on in the photo), maybe she reciprocates Darius’s feelings for her after all?(But like Darius, she assumed he saw her only as a friend, so she never acted on them?) I’m still (cautiously) holding onto hope that *Darilynn/Dinostar* will happen before the series is complete. I refuse to believe that the producers would reveal Darius fell in love with Brooklynn after she and Kenji broke up if they didn’t plan on further developing their relationship during *Chaos Theory.* ✊🔛🪵
