He will never get the credit he deserves. He’s a great WR2 who is loyal to the team so that I can respect🙏

Can we also appreciate the dots that mr. Dimes him self is throwing to slayton 🤌🏾

People need to start putting some respect on Slayton was they only target he might of had a few drops but to be fair every team we played knew he was our only real threat besides the running game with Barkley or DJ, if go watch the film Slay was almost always bracketed or they had help over the top. This year with more targets on the field for the defense to worry about I except Slay to have his best year yet. Let's go Gmen!!

He's an interesting player, to me he looks like a solid WR2. He's able to attack on 4 or 5 routes and he runs them well, he has reliable hands, is physical enough, and he tracks the ball very well! I don't think he's the most twitchy guy and on this he looks like he's a 4.43 or so guy. He also doesn't have high end play strength, BUT I do really like what I saw from him
@bohightower8805 Жыл бұрын
He ran a 4.39U so yea you’re right on with that observation. One thing he doesn’t have and didn’t have in college coming from an Auburn fan is wiggle after the catch. No real threat of shaking someone and housing it which is, in my opinion, holding him back from being pretty damn good almost elite.
@bohightower8805 Жыл бұрын
He kinda just tries to run around people and sometimes he gets around bc people are surprised by his speed other times he can’t
@smurphy98844 Жыл бұрын
@bohightower8805 thanks for the love fam! Yeah I can see what you're saying, it's strange too because if he was just a little more sharp or had a little more suddenness to his routes he'd be a top 20 wr....do you think he'll make the leap?
@LesgoSaquon11 ай бұрын
@@bohightower8805um actually he does do that kinda, look at the texans game when he housed it, yeh sure you could argue it was a poor tackle attempt but still. The reason I love him, cuz he can moss defenders and nobody even realizes it

Slayton did so much for us and now most Giants fans are like meh and rather give props to James who lost us 3 games with his drops. Slaytons drops lost us 0 games.

Slayton isn’t a number but he for sure is a good receiver that should’ve been playing from week 1. So glad to have him back on the Giants and I’m excited to see another szn of him and Daniel Jones connection.👏🏾

SLAY seems to hang back behind the Corner covering him and then uses the guy's shoulders to launch up to catch. Nice tricky move

@bohightower8805 Жыл бұрын
He’s been an elite deep ball threat from the minute he stepped foot on Auburns campus in college. But the comparison isn’t fair. Two completely different receiver types. Devonta beat’s people with his cute and breaks. Slayton beats people with his stems and spacing and speed. Overall Smith is a better receiver but when it comes to better fit within an offense, Slayton fits the Giants offense better than Smith fits the Eagles

@@bohightower8805 Darius slayton take intermediate routes and turn them into big gains and touchdowns devonta smith is just a good route runner
