What are your thoughts on Saquon leaving the Giants?
@RudyTelesfordАй бұрын
Good riddance! Would never wish injuries upon him, but certainly don't want him to succeed on the Philly flying rats. Hope he sees a lot of Dex, Burns and Thibodeux standing over him💪🏿 LET'S GO BIG BLUE!!

The very best thing he could've done for himself. Can't wait for him to be the reason the eagles win the Superbowl. Imagine.... Last few seconds of the game, eagles down 3 points, he runs down 70 yards into the end zone for the eagles 2nd Superbowl ring. We'll send the giants organization a "thank you" card 😂

In all honesty I would like to see if Saquon was holding the Giants back. Hear me out before you go nuts. Most of the plays depended on him. DJ, if in trouble, most times looked for him. Of course, this is my opinion. But this will be the season I'm looking forward to. I don't hate the guy, I hate his team, but now I don't have to pay any mind to him. I can move on with the NY Giants. SB to me is just an OK RB. Didn't HELP get us a ring and to injured prone.
@KenjiMapesАй бұрын
Darius is a true NY Giant. He was foolishly moved up & down the depth chart despite being a solid receiver several years for the Giants who had a weak receiver group. At times we basically only had Slayton as a weapon due to injuries & a WR corps full of journeymen. He was nearly cut & had to take a pay cut. He responded with 2 more productive seasons after getting a deserved extension & raise finally. He never complained or caused a distraction despite being overlooked at times & not treated with more respect. He’s not a superstar #1 WR per se but he has been consistent & productive as an excellent #3 or decent #2. He has worked with a WR coach & it’s paid off because he has fixed dropping passes which plagued his early in his career. Slayton is a grinder & productive along with being a young veteran leader for the other WRs & a solid citizen. Glad he’s a Giant & hope he stays a Giant. Now we finally have a loaded WR corps. We have #1 pick Malik Nabers joining Slayton, 2nd year speedster Jalin Hyatt, & 3rd year might mouse Wan’Dale who had a breakout year along with a slew of veterans & some intruiging UDFA WRs. This is a talented young core of receivers who have diverse skill sets that is deep & balanced. This position group could be dangerous. They should really help Jones & make this often potent. Can’t wait. I’m excited to see what this group can do. I expect Slay to have another productive season. Let’s Go Giants!

Darrius Slayton in my humble opinion is sooooo underrated and under appreciated. What he brings to the table is true professional athlete and most importantly a great teammate. All at the same time Big Play Slay has put in a lot of work during the offseason to fine tune his receivers skills and improve his catching abilities (hardly no drops). He’s a tough competitor with a desire to do what best for the team. Major Salute bro! Keep inspiring others to be the best version of themselves🫡💯

@ericbutler739Ай бұрын
Tell you what,if he went to the Chiefs in that draft, kids all over would be wearing his jersey and he would be a pro bowler. He isn't elite, but he is a real starting WR 2. With a QB who could take advantage of his speed and put it on him, he would be a 70+ catch 1000+ yard guy each and every year.

Love Slayton. He is a no nonsense dependable and AVAILABLE player. He hardly ever gets hurt and consistently has the best yardage. All this nonsense about his drops-thats like 1-2 times only. His YAC is awesome and he is the only dude on the team who can catch a contested ball, in heavy traffic. He also has hilarious moves on corners-like fake stumbles, pushing off a guy's shoulder to get higher and so on
