hi. Thank you for this reaction.🌹💐♥️.. There has not been any one like Darush in Iran and maybe in the world. And wont be. I suggest you to listen to this when first time released (when he was young, about 49years ago, before Iran revolution😔). And also the lyrics and persian poems are really uniqe... I suggest you learn persian language to read some special poems and to listen to some special songs....such as darush eghbali and mohammadreza shagarian and.... Iranian classical music make you feel better specialy when you are sad. That is really wonderful. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

This song might sound a romantic song to the non-Persians at the beginning, but it actually is a political song as it is the case with most of the songs by Darioush. He is mourning for all the good years and the one who's gone(our beloved Shah/king) that we've lost forever after that darn Islamic revolution that was imposed on us by the outside powers. Most Persian songs have very beautiful, deep and sophisticated lyrics. Persian is a poetic language, full of literary subtleties which you really MUST understand to fully enjoy the song. Contrary to other languages that mostly have shallow lyrics, most Persian songs are very deep and meaningful, any of which even have hidden and double social or political meanings, and must really be understood.

Honestly, apart from the poems, no other charm can be found. In fact, this has become a taboo. If you were not interested, you would have lacked artistic taste, which has been one of the reasons for its increasing popularity. Some even didn't matter, they just had to be fans.
