And I'm glad you did not cry this time Avegel; well done ;-) Just remember, Dariush does not sing to make his fans cry; rather he wants us to share his emotional journey with him. I just want to add in Persian poem like this lyrics when he said I or me sometimes that refer to a people like me and when he said about stories was guilty, that means our belief was cause of problem and bring us to dark age. His lyrics of songs mostly refer to social problems in Iran or worldwide, like song "Year 2000".

Dariush is in fact singing about the demise of humanity as a whole here. This is a difficult song to comprehend, and the translation is less than perfect. I would like to say that Sandy, among all reaction channel hosts (esses) out there, always grasp the meaning, and profundity of lyrics best, explains it well without being pretentious about it.
