Like everything in life, this breaks down to personal preference. Personally, I choose the oneplus. Frankly, I don't care about wireless charging and I detest large bezels. Don't even get me started on battery size and wired charging speeds.

​@roninr8199 if thats with "Smart rapid charging" enabled, then that's normal/expected speeds. Charging too fast while the battery is near full, is not good for the health of the battery. It does 0-80% in like 30-35 minutes. 80% is great to stop at for long-term battery health, and 80% is more than enough for a days worth of use on OnePlus 13r. But gsmarena tested it with the smart rapid charging turned off, and it took 48 minutes from 0-100%. S24FE does it in 1 hour and 10 minutes. I can tell you that Samsungs updates have made my S23 Ultra drain battery so fast, that 80% will not get me through a whole day. Looks like the OnePlus 13r can get a few more hours out of its battery than the S24 FE can.

I still prefer the overall camera performance of 13R over S24 FE, I'm more into pictures and the pictures taken in 13R are absolutely gorgeous and better than S24 FE. Software wise you cannot underestimate Oxygen OS 15. I'll stick with OnePlus 13R here because for that amount you're getting a lot more than what Samsung is packing in S24 FE.

That's funny because I've seen a video pitting the S24FE, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and the Pixel pro and saw NOTHING of this mismatching color issues on the S42FE. I also OWN one, and have NEVER seen this color issue, did you alter the settings for some odd reason? I've seen other videos as well and this color issue does NOT exist on the S24FE in those either! As far as your "night" pictures go - were you using the dedicated NIGHT mode on the S24FE? Makes a HUGE difference if you do not, and some the "pictures" you showed looked like REGULAR mode. This is a COMMON technique when "comparing" things, as you make a few adjustments so that the product you favor just looks better! This is done quite often in stores when looking at TV's to give the one they want to move the better looking picture. Secondly, MANY of these "private" channels are sponsored to PUSH their products and this video makes me wonder here! Bezels? Just look at the regular iPhone 16 then let's talk about bezels! The S24FE is the bottom tier of the 'S' series but, you still have a 6.7" display, and the bezels don't really mean a hill of shit to most.

I always use the default camera settings for fairness in my comparisons, and for night photography, I always use the dedicated night mode as that’s exactly what it’s designed for. That being said, the S24 FE still uses older hardware for the ultra-wide and telephoto lenses - the same as on the S20 FE - with only the main camera seeing an upgrade. While some users may not notice color inconsistencies, they do show up in direct comparisons, especially against newer competitors. I test these things to provide honest insights, as even small details can make a big difference depending on how you use your phone. Appreciate your perspective and thanks for sharing your experience!

S24FE = camera, software and build quality There isn't much difference between the processors. Exynos 2400 is as good as 8 gen 3, though the later has slight edge in raw performance and efficiency.

@@DariuszTech Ну да, фото на мой взгляд в большинстве случаев проигрывают самсунгу, много перешарпа и завышенной контрастности, искуственной резкости лично для меня. Звук в видео тоже беда по сравнению с самсунгом несмотря на 3 микрофона, но всё ещё лучше сяоми. С обновлениями ситуация врядли станет ощутимо лучше к сожалению. Грустно отдавая такие деньги мириться с таким компромиссом, это одна из худших камер за эту сумму среди конкурентов как мне кажется
