The night mode and dynamic range on the Pro+ really stood out. Whereas In other situations, the pro looked pretty good. I'm sure the camera updates would fix some of the issues too. [ for both models ]

I didn't realise until I read comments that the 13 pro you're testing is the 4g model. Not bad quality for quite a cheap phone then although the zoom was pretty bad. I so wish the pro + didn't have the curved screen, big mistake in my view. Nice review.

I couldn't agree more. I have the Xiaomi 12 with the curved screen and opted for the 13 pro because of the flat screen. I really do think curved screen is a niche that was only cool for a minute. I really like the 13 pro and for the price compared to the pro + it was a no brainer.

Both great devices. Xiaomi feels more premium. Has brighter display. However a34 can record 4k on selfie and has expandable storage. In terms of camera it's really hard to say as I didn't do camera comparison and don't remember exactly how each of the phones performed

I got the 13pro. It's so upsetting that Max recording is only 1080. The chip is capable of recording in 2K. I have another phone with the same CPU and records in 2K (Blackview a200 pro)
