Thanks for the review! I just bought one yesterday and am very impressed. A bit laggy on the stylus - but it's not terrible - just need to get used to it (I was using an iPad before). Definitely not going to be spending thousands on an iDevice or upper end Android model when something as cheap as this can do the job!

Pad I use for watching KZbin and Movies and for reading texts. Set background to dark mode and the thumbnails in KZbin stands out. Watching in dark room where there's no reflection on the Pad screen is much better.

This is really awesome review, I am thinking of picking this tablet up myself (bundle combo with a Xiaomi phone), I am going to try to do editing on it too for some smaller workflows, but I do have main editing pc for that and I really hope the stylus will work, what stylus do you have? Because I have drawing tablet, and having tablet to draw would be more awesome and easier way to practice, there was another review hat said that no styluses work at all. My main goal with this tablet is also to just like you browse and watch youtube media with the bigger screen, and multitasking abilities would be so nice, benefit doing it on tablet compared to pc is that I can move around and not sit in one spot and separate workplace from enjoy content place as well as bigger screen tops phone and saves phones battery life's longevity.

I have the redmi pad without se and use it for email and movies . It does everything it is supposed to do well and photos only expensive tablets do well . But pen and co I do not need for media😅🎉

I only have one problem with my Redmi Pad SE and that is when i connect the USB cable to my labtop the Redmi Pad SE shows up with an empty folder on my laptop when I have put a 512GB SD card on that SD Card it has photographs of my trip to Japan from July this year. But only the Tablet shows up but not the SD Card or anything else that is on the tablet. I might take the SD Card out and put the SD card back in the tablet then reconnect the usb cable back to my laptop.

@@dezigndude4475 Why not. I am editing all my KZbin videos on a tablet or now foldable as the chips inside are way more optimized for rendering videos in different formats than my laptop is. So hardware rendering definitely wins on the tablets against a similiar priced laptop with intel/amd gpu.
