One day I was at the river at night. It was a really cold Russian May. I turned on the first CryoChamber piano mix and just sat there, watching the fog spiraling over the black water. I didn't move until the mix was over. By that time I couldn't feel my feet or take a full breath, and my body was shaking. Yet, it was worth every second. I made a memory that remains with me forever. Have to find and make a memory for this mix now.

A crypt of keys dance With no fingers behind them, A sad annunciation What seems fixed in darkness Will move with the light. I am alive with no body.... Nobody to love me now. But wait Those keys keep playing, (A vibration) Bringing light and darkness Together. Togetherness my love Above the celestial sphere. Cemeteries are not for the dead But are the foundations for the new. Life.

This is driving me nuts: the intro to "The Grim Repasts of Cullen Shores" - this sounds like it came from a Lovecraft story (or maybe one of his contemporaries). But I cannot find any references to it. Is this from an existing book or short story, or was it written just for this music?
@rupturedworld Жыл бұрын
Written just for this music! It's part of a narrative written for the album which the track is part of, which is also part of a series of albums.

So one night about 2017 I saw a shadow of a large man at my gate that was locked he opened it.... And walked right in... I ran down the street and looked over at the street light and I saw this same figure of a man about 7 ft tall trying to hide behind the street light, I saw his horns as well as his red eyes just staring at me..... Never been the same since

Anyone know if it's possible to fix the audio peaking (I think that's what it's called, still learning 😀 ) in songs like this? (1st one) Granted, it's sometimes intentional but headphones tend to almost focus on it and really cuts into immersion for me. I'd legitimately get my own editing software and make my own edits for my own use if this was a certainty.
@_TZEOL2 жыл бұрын
You mean the audible cracking noise, if by peaking you mean clipping? If yes, then there's not much that can be done about that I'm afraid - once it's in the audio file, it's there for good. It's possible it's the youtube compression that does it though, so you might be able to find the wav version of the songs clean.
