I feel like this might be how SDF intended barbs to be played. You might single handedly have fixed the move speed meta. I was always curous about this style of play but never got around to testing it or perfecting it (i mostly have run str/dex barb to this point)

it's easy to get this impression if you don't actually play the game, but it's not really the case. Pay attention when he loots, his stats are different every time because he's dying constantly and re-kitting. This video is just a seal clubbing montage. (like every pete video)

NGL I'm not sure why this is new. I always found it odd why barbs play move speed since you're kinda going against the purpose of the class. I haven't tried building a lot of dex and resourcefulness but I'll usually run about 30 mdr and 30 pdr with savage roar and be along with felling axe and war maul. Counters are rangers warlocks and wizards, gotta just play corners and doors against them without Achilles strike

It's not new, it's just a trios build typically. Buffs make up for loss of move speed. Also if fighters were running maces more, pdr barb would kind of get clapped.

The real reason move speed was so meta back then was because barb was two shoting people back then and move speed use to be capped at 350 in the past ypu could bet move speed on pants so it was impossible to play pdr on barbarian back then in solo but buff ball with a barbarian has always been better then fighter😂
