Yeah but no damage mitigation. Past the 24 mmr they melt with that build. When I was pvping higher gear lobbies, I have to run chests for 30ish reduction. To make up the loss of move speed and 10% damage, the gear to compensate drastically jumps in price. PDR fighters effective hp pool is literally several times that of a chest less barb with similar damage.

Played barb for a week, got more kills then my entire last season main. This class is easy mode while moving as fast as rogue, dealing 3x the damage, ability to heal, potion chugger, does more the lower hp u are, strongest root in the game, and completely counters door and doorer. Ppl who can't make barb work are literal trash missing thumbs and I'm gonna keep abusing it now cause its just that easy

Barb is one of the weakest classes in the game right now, not that you’d know it from watching Pete since he only includes clips of him winning fights. But it’s a pointless argument to have since the game is a miserable slog to play right now if you don’t treat it like Valorant and the developers have all but abandoned it in anticipation of losing their court case on October 24th. Barb is trash, or he’s the best class in the game, who cares. All the magic has been drained out of this game

It's not broken is just overperforms in low gs lobbies. It's one of the harder classes to pull off in high gs lobbies which is why you don't see many Barbs there.

Tell me you dont play barb without telling me you dont play barb every class can kite you if they have any spacing knowledge whatsoever and if you take a fight into any fighter w cooldowns up its whoever pops cds first that generally loses as for every other class they just need to not get caught w an Achilles and even if you do if you are lock you just phantomize and then run barb is only good in low gs lobbies because half of players dont know spacing or how to bait abilities any players that play the game a decent bit will just play spacing and roll you literally forces you to play zwei in higher gs lobbies because using any other weapon youre losing the only advantage you have which is range and spacing💀
