That circle pit in the middle of the crowd is insane! Gene Hoglan still sounds as monstrous as ever behind the drum kit! I was also surprised Ron Rinehart can still hit the high notes. Got to hand it to Dark Angel for being able to sell out a huge arena like that on just a reunion tour with no new music to promote. Looks like lots of people the world over missed them when they went on hiatus all those years ago. Can't wait for the new CD!

They need to have an 80's thrash fest with, Dark Angel, Overkill, Testament, Exodus, Megadeth, Death Angel, Fear Factory, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church, Anthrax, Venom, Slayer!! I know it's possible but to have Pantera there and early Metallica before the they turned to pop metal shit, That would be a killer fucking show!!

What troubles me more is that new bands are not able to play at those speeds, and I don't mean using a human drum machine full of trick techniques. Dark Angel, Sadus, Hellwitch and the likes paid their "debt" in the early days, I personally am grateful for them.
