What made it emotional is that Max thought if she told Cindy who she really was, she’d be seen as a freak. Yes - their friendship has now fundamentally changed, but Cindy still appreciates the fact that Max put herself through hell just to save her best friend.

Episode 12 is "art attack" where we learn about defenestration. Episode 13 is "rising", where she fights the amped up dudes. Is this not correct?
