Dark Arisen Warrior Condemned Gorecyclops Crazy Fight

Was just testing out my new armor and sword, all gold dragonforged. I'm level 200 with great gear. Something I noticed after this fight is that I had autonomy set up instead of clout without realising, since I had been soloing before and forgot to change it. So I had no damage buff augment in this fight. :)

God, I hate when I'm just about to kill a boss and Death appears. When he reaps them, you get no drops, and it's so annoying >: C I wonder, could Death technically kill Daimon in one hit?

If I were playing this in your shoes, I probably would've been yelling " CAN YOU FEEL IT !? " at the Gorecyclopes, every time I Arc of Obliteration-ed them. XD . I also like how you straight took on Death as a Warrior, and came away from it unscathed. ( More like, non-deceased ) I usually run off somewhere and chill til' Death takes off, THEN continue whatever fight with the enemies left.

Could just use Hailstorm with a Rusted Bow, then climb up his Torpored face and use Kisses. You have a climbing speed and climbing dmg buff on Strider, use it.

Hellfire armor set. The chest piece can get health regeneration on it. One of my pawns is also wearing a robe which regenerates party members over time.

Love the way the warrior play looks, feels super meaty with its attacks, but that charge up time for attacks like Art of Obliteration is fucking insane. Those gorecyclops can be easily cheesed using a butt clinging Magick Archer + Immolation + climbing augments + liquid vim + 4 conquer periapts, killing both in roughly 30 seconds.

Grab a pawn with crippling arrow. It basically removes their defenses . Then follow up with an elemental attack like a deathly arrow with ice affinity. Roughly 8x dmg. Yes, I play as ranger. You would be amazed at the DPS that I possess. The key is liquid vim for any ranged class. Instant slaughter. Heh, still concerned about death creeping up on me...

It's been a long time but I've definitely missed arc of obliteration. I beat Damien in literally 2 hit with that move my goal this time is a go little bit as a assassin get more strength than before then switch back to Warrior I cannot wait. I remember my first Gore cyclops it was stuck in a doorway and I kept using Arc of Might and chop it at its feet all my pawns died but I stayed alive

But hey!, I first played Demon's Souls then Dark Souls and this game gives me a good challenge so... I don't really mind. I love smushing an enemy with an Arc (so much FUN!!)

Kurt CoBane I played a little bit all around in my first run. A jack of all trades. Then I made a sorcerer (easy mode sort of). But I enjoy smushing a boss with a big sword. These are also my weapon choices in Dark Souls. Practice makes perfect so.. You have to practice :)

but i am using a balanced spec....the problem however is that because its literally a jack of all trades, its the king of none. Having primarily leveled up mostly with the magick archer class, at lvl 200 i have approximately 400 str and magick. This means when i swap over to the warrior class, i neither have the hp nor the str that pure fighters/warriors/assassins would have that would literally allow them to kill bosses fast. Right now with the best sword and autonomy, i do 4000 physical dmg.

Man warrior is basically the hardest class to fight bosses with. I had an assassin so I would just go to the upper floor and shoot arrows at its head until it died. It was incredibly tedious but it's ridiculously easy. Just stand there and shoot, cyclops can't reach you.

I think if you have enough stagger power like stacking all equipment that increases stagger and knockback power and you use arc of obliteration it actually knocks death into the air and you can keep stunlocking him

Abso fucking lutely. I was just shy of max height and I gave my dude long arms and a chest like a barrel. I recently played a shorter, rogue sized dude. He was an inferior warrior. He didn't have the range, and he couldn't grab onto enemies and force them to the ground as easily. When THIS guy grabbed onto things, they stayed grabbed. And when he swung, the whole fucking room died. His jumping light, in particular, had humongous range, and I could tag harpies out of the sky with ease, or jump up and hit medallions in the sky on metal golems pretty easily. It wasn't hard to smack things with his jumping light. I could sail across a room and face plant a whole pack of enemies at the same time. It was beautiful.

You want to kill it fast? Try with a sorcerer... Find a place this thing can't hit you and high gicel his ass. If you're feeling adventurous try high fulmination or high brontide and watch the HP bars go down quickly, but for this one you need to be close, still the view of the bars going down is worth it. I underestimated sorcerers, so freaking overpowered! You might get bored though

Use stone jungle a long way away from him. With good timing he'll teleport to you just as you finish casting it. If you get it right you have a good chance to knock him down.

Morninglord22 that doesn't work to me for some reason. i have tried it, but nothing. So i have went to the technique of Holy Trance+Abyssal Anguish+Conqueror's Periapt+Full Moon Slash. Though my MK built is more magic focused, so i'm not doing much as i expected (with my Sorc lvling up from 100-200, i did much with Holy Focused Bolt+ Demon's Periapt). And i read Stone Jungle does fire damages, and does aswell damage based on magic AND physical damage, in the way of Str/Mag, so it does practically like 0.4 damage i believe (Attack:375; Magic Attack:625), so it isn't working for me, and idk the way to use it, and replaced it with Sigil, though he floats so it's unused on this battle. And i still tried to use it on other monsters, and it does LOOOOW, but LOOW damage, so idk if it's the built, or the way i use it (i tried that, wait for him to use purple lantern, go away, Cast Stone Jungle,he teleports, he doesn't knock back as ppl have told me, and takes low damage, even with Periapts)

Chris Zammit It's Vocation wise to say that honestly. For example, even that the Ur Dragon be vanilla DD, it's hard for Warriors and Fighters, because the wings. But if we talk (by experience) I would say probably that the Frostwyrm is surely one of the top hardest to beast. If you have any fire damage attack, he becomes easy, yes, but getting close to it/casting to attack, isn't easy, with it's high magic attack stats, it's tough. Idk if it can be silenced, but if so, it makes all easier. Living Armor is probably there aswell. And mostly because their shield and how damaging their attacks are. If it weren't skeleton-like mobs have slower frames than normal (i still don't understand why), you would be death soon. Daimon is...as i said, dependent of vocation. His 1st form is a joke for a Sorcerer, but in 2nd form the use of Periapts is a most. I haven't tried with MK yet, but i heard with MA (as with EVERYTHING in the game), is easy. Garmr are just bigger wolves, but with thunder weakness, just that. In pack, as their comparison, are annoying, but alone, they are stupidly easy.Condemned Gorecyclops have same pattern as their normal, dummy version of DD, but they got buffed on damage (a lot),and also being quick. The Gazer is an insult to anyone if i say it's hard. The Dark Bishop is like Lychs or Wights technique: wait for it to start casting, and attack. High Maelstrom kills them easily. Only annoyance there, is the Curse Dragon, which with a Holy weapon they are easy to kill. Firedrakes having an Ice affinity weapon/affinity is a most, since their defense is ridicolously high. Thunderwyverns the moment they fall from the sky, are easy prey. The easiest of the buffed dragonkin trio. Eliminators are cute; with ANY, i mean it, ANY magickal attack, they die SOOO easily, you can't even put them aside of normal monsters. Death is a funny case. Eventhough he has a 1HKO move, makes you sleepy, and has high def/mag.def (changes everytime he reappears after its defeat, like online Ur)...he's just dumb. Really, any class can kill it, ofc, with Periapts. For any bow Vocation, using Blast Arrows makes this even easier.The only good thing of him, is that he can give out useful materials, or Cursed Bitterblack Armor/Weapon/Novelty items, from 2-3 level (being lvl 3 weapon the rarest to drop). But aside of that, it's a BOOring boss fight. I didn't think any boss could beat the Metal Golem on boriest boss battle ever. If you noticed, this is my overview, from a Sorcerer (rn MK) experience. I ran on BBI 4 times completely with Sorc, and the only tough ones are the ones i said: Frostwyrms, Living Armors, and probably the Condemned Gorecyclops

D. Cage dagger/shield was my favourite setup in dungeons too when i played assassin. i carried a bow with me for outdoors and switched to it when i needed it

I ask because i just played this game till after you defeat the dragon and it got so mind numbingly easy by the end that i was just too bored to continue and decided to delete my char and start over. Just asking to see if i can ever expect any semblance of challenge from Normal mode. I would be all over Hard mode by default but the "extras" they added like double XP, money out the ass and pawns not being affected are dumb as shit. Also can't decide if i want to be a Fighter, Warrior or Mystic Knight. Mystic Knights look cool but i have no interest in that cannon spamming nonsense and it looks like my skill slots would just be a bunch of buffs :( Hope you're still around to reply.

Chris Zammit After you defeat Daimon the first time, he appears throughout BBI, in almost every room, with some exceptions. Before you defeat Daimon, he appears only 4 times (when you first get to BBI, the Cockatrice room, after you defeat the Gazer, and the sewers before you fight your first Living Armor). The last place he appears pre-Daimon, he will spawn infinitely until you kill Daimon. If you kill...Death, he'll respawn the moment you rest either on BBI or Gransys. Pre Daimon only has that good thing: Death farming, but it can still be done in Post Daimon (not same trick, but another way), so it's better to run and finish off Daimon, to get to Post Daimon, which becomes even fun and harder.

well yeah thats the point. you give up being epic in any area but you can still be good in any area... its not meant to be a boss killer but more of just a balance like it suggests. sure killing the cyclops might take you longer than this guy but if you ever want to be somin else you still can without making a new char. i dont mind the lowered stats and longer battles. this game can be too easy for pures even bitterblack can be destroyed by a 200 pure magick\strength build. idk. i like it more.

Nope. 10-40 or so warrior, then levelled up a bunch of classes, went back to warrior to do the solo end game vids I posted, then did some messing around with sorceror and a few classes. After I was level 100, the stats from warrior is kinda useless (gives barely any good stats) so I went assassin and a few other classes for a while (to get a bit more stam). I was trying to level out my magic stat a bit because magic warrior weapons are greatly improved by having a higher magic stat. A lot of the nastier enemies are much easier with higher magic. I'd build him completely differently if I redid him. I was all over the place. :)

Tom robertson If you are a MA, is piece of cake, really, MA i have heard is easy to play with. Ofc it would take you that time, cuz the damage you did in the moment, is like a 200 level Sorc build Arisen, punching a Gorecyclops to death. It's possible (i did, though i did MK build)

this video is proof that warriors and fighters suck in this game, when i play magick based characters i can wreck these cyclops in half this guys time, and its not only the cyplops a lot of enemies will take more magick damage then pure strenght damage. I wish warriors were more balanced to do more damage in those types of enemies while going solo, melee only classes feel really weak unfortunately.

+blackmesazero thats cool bro, but I didn't post this to prove anything at all. i just jumped back onto a warrior after playing a bunch of other classes and ended up right in the middle of one of the most difficult fights in the game and somehow lived in a situation where i normally would have died instantly. i thought that was fairly neat. there are more effective ways to kill these creatures with warrior, I wasn't really trying to do the most effective thing. i was just trying to survive.

+blackmesazero Warriors can be extremely op in the strength department, especially with a gold dragonforged iraklis, which is in my opinion the most over powered weapon in the game being able to one shot a condemed gorecyclops with some conqueror's periapts by hitting one in the eye with a crit. Although fighters are terrible in the damage department, they make up for it for their amazing evasive capabilities, a good fighter can easily dodge any attack and counter with hindsight sweep, dragons maw, or full moon slash. So, that along with the fact that fighters can also use a shield to help against smaller enemy's makes the fighter one of the bests classes for survival.

i maxed every class. warrior for about 40 levels. this character wasn't a build. this was my first guy, so i explored everything. his stats are all over the place. that's why you see the same guy as a sorceror, a fighter, a magic archer, an assassin. I played them all. but! arc of deliverance, the second part of the attack, the aoe blast? uses your magic stat. so not wasted.

Fireless Killer those weapons use both your magic and str stat. my warrior was pretty good at killing those knights in bb that are immune to physical because he spent about 25 levels as a sorceror prior to 100.

Doctopus pal, MA is like, god tier, of the god tier classes. It's out of the question putting the MA in a matchup. Other classes, however, with this set, have it REALLY tough.

are you talking about the infinity symbol? the game uses that to denote level 200. every level 200 has it.

If they wanna get one shotted that's their business tho. Death kills in one hit and can't be defended against, you can't res them. One of them was mine anyway, and she's insane. A complete freaking nutter. She got smacked by a giant rock once and as she flew off into the void she cried out "Tis but a scratch!" Honestly, I don't think she even cares if she dies...
