I truly love this look on your client. The raw stage was freighting but l trusted the process and her hair looks amazing.

Thank you! It can be a little scary if this technique is new to you, but you're right, you just have to trust the process!

Very beautiful, I always enjoy your work! Now hairdresser to hairdresser would you please be willing to share the price tag for such a service?
@JamieDana3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! That means a lot! For a full color change like this, I would charge $100 an hour. This took me about 4-5 hours if I remember correctly, so depending on the amount of product I used, it would be about a $500+ service.

Sounds more than fair! That's a lot of time and product! My boss just recently Increased our chemical services. Product has gotten so expensive. Anyways I love watching and practicing your techniques. Attention to small detail really does make a big difference in grow out and maintenance for the client 🤗

How do you charge for this service? Do you have a tone and root shadow included in the lightener service or do you charge as add-ons?
@Codi14cd3 ай бұрын
Question. Since you do a root shadow with shades. What do you do in four to six weeks when the shades fades out? Do you presale them to come back and do another root shadow? Or do you wait until the blonde needs to be retouched?
@JamieDana3 ай бұрын
It depends on the client and their preferences. I actually haven't noticed that Shades EQ fades all the way and since I'm doing more babylights, the grow-out is pretty soft so it's not a harsh line of demarcation, so it can usually last until their next appointment in 3-4 months.

Thank you for your response. I understand what you said about not seeing fading from the Shades. @@JamieDana

Hi I have a question. I’m a male with grey hair on my sides about 80 percent. I’m trying to go blond to match my top. I tried 9NA with 10 vol. it didn’t quite deposit the blonde onto the grey. I’m trying to get it as light blonde as possible. Any thoughts what to try. Thank you
@TracyD229 күн бұрын
Stubborn grays need at least a 20 volume. Some people even do a bleach wash first on gray before color. I’m not sure what Jamie would do. She’s definitely top notch in her techniques but definitely a 20 v is needed. Maybe even mix the 9NA with something else. Ashes can appear darker and I think you want a level 10. Check out some formulas online. Behind the chair website shares them.
