ive invested so much time as a kid in this game. I did even beat Pendragon. After ALL THAT I've discovered the broken Dagger Glitch on youtube and cried.

I loved this game. The only problem with this boss is that he gives you the strongest sword in the game but the game has nothing harder than the demon shaft to use this weapon. Kind of a waste.

Man someone deleted there comment, there was a dude that said he did 18k with charged inferno attack on the pendragon, I wanted to ask him if critical worked for him cause I once did 10k with a chronicle sword on him so it must be critical? I mean hell critical worked on immune enemies too and most enemies in the shaft have more hp then the dark genie...

I've recently purchased this game for the PS4 and I'm really close to this part of the game so I'm getting a little nervous. In my first run through on the ps2 I got to the black knight ... saw his intro, heard his theme, and noped the fuck out. That was almost 16 years ago I hope watching this video will give me a bit more bravery and that I can actually finish this game properly. I'm still scared though. :D

This fight was a pain in my ass. Only used Xiao because FOR SOME REASON my Chronicle Sword kept breaking. I had to remake an entirely new one most of the time. -i also got hit at the very beginning of the fight before the battle screen faded to attention but let's not talk about that-

Maybe I'm a little late on this, but he has an ability where he blocks using his two swords in a spinning motion that, if he is hit while blocking, can instantly destroy close-range weapons. (Dark Cloud Wiki is very helpful)

If you finish Norune Village, Toan get's a second charge attack, called the "Windmill Slash." You basically spin around in a tornado, dealing a ton of damage. You DON'T lose the Jump Slash when you do this, so don't worry about losing it idk.

yeah sorry, that, basically get 100% on all of the sections. Norune village gives you windmill slash, and matataki village gives you a battle axe i believe. I forgot about the others. Been awhile sine i played it :)

The Black Knight is Seda in the other timeline. Simply put Sophia died and Seda was filled with rage and not having Sophia revived by Toan the rage grew thus reaching the limit and Black Knight was created. OR it's just a freakishly strong enemy from the MOON area and Fairy king blasted it with the moon beam after it was weak I don't know.

Ness Kirby Nice in trying to melee the boss, and even in using Goro, more fun that way imo. Most people just shoot it with Xiao/Osmond until it's defeated. Ungaga is actually a little faster than Goro, and his charged attack can be moved left or right. The only bad part is that his final weapon at max stats has the 2nd highest attack, and a horrible magic stat for some reason.

the game doesn't directly state who it is, however, if you fight the Pendragon with a Steve/Super Steve (the talking slingshot) one of Steve's comments is "Toan should know him." which is a subtle hint

We had similar weapons but your weapons have surprisingly less ability’s, the first thing I do is always to give the thief ability to all my weapons, how the hell you make money without? I Really Love Dark Cloud (Orignal) Because Of My Favorite Characters Toan,Xiao,Ruby,Goro,Osmond And Ungaga. I Really Love The Character Design On The Main Characters And Graphics Are Really Pretty And Nice My Favorite Boss Battes Are: Dark Genie ,Seda,Lasia,Black Knight.
