Honestly, they realised how annoying the duesl were, and removed them from quite a few sections. Annoying to code, and annoying to do. The one in the tomb was the last one, for good reason! It felt like a ridiculous bit of padding. The only duel that made sense was the one with the mysterious man in the Divine Beast Cavern. (His name wasn't revealed at that point, so please, don't correct me.)

@@corjonbett not correcting, just adding, but Seda was a cool character. gave me Riku vibes from kingdom hearts compared to your character, but they killed him off so pathetically at the start of the second game. it made me sad

if they integrated the duels into longer sequences for floors as part of the story, or made duels per character so each person had a unique fight and reoccuring nemesis, that would have been cool. like Ruby fighting enemy mages, or ungaga fighting the stone golems in a duel

i got this game yesterday and messed up on the first duel, because i didn't realise that you had to press the button when it hit the light blue part, i like the way it cuts to black before toan gets decapitated though.

agreed, loved them. I hated that the last one if i remembered correctly was the sun ship. I loved dark clouds to bits thou i never managed to get to the black night boss. but still, they need more duels
