Sods law states that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. It also states that anything that does go wrong is the worst thing that can go wrong. It's time we stopped playing at being God and were content with things as they are. Covid is a good example. Cern collider is another. Scientists agreed that smashing atoms together could lead to a run away conflagration of the atmosphere or the creation of a black hole, but they went head with it regardless. Another perfect example is microsofts insistancy on forcing unwanted and unending Windowa updates on peoples computers. It never makes anything any better, just more data (Which should be private) to sell to other companies.

@@FrankBrown-c5l I agree 100% we need to stop playing God. At one point Albert Einstein was concerned about nuclear fission if it was used as a military weapon. Now there are enough nuclear weapons on the planet to totally destroy the planet several times over. If a major war breaks out and the nations start using nuclear weapons, it could at least kill many millions. There's been talk of wars and using those weapons. Maybe some of that talk is just posturing, but some I think is serious. All it takes is one match to start a fire that can destroy an entire forest.

Not right this computer made her to live in a day dream that not life & No police came to rescue her It wants to hv a body but taking her to a dream world it should have made a robot instead of ruining & imprisoning her like this . I hope there will b a part 2 where she can get rescued

I agree. I would have preferred an ending where Chloe seemingly goes about her daily life but in reality, she is AIDA's robot and controls Chloe's every thought and action.

Moderately intriguing plot about entrusting ourselves to AI machines. There are some in-jokes for 2001 fans, like the round red eye of AIDA, who I think even says "I can't do that" at one point ! I'm not sure why there are some really grouchy comments about this movie. I thought it came out quite well, but maybe other people expected something else than what was served up to them.

There seems to be a " code " of Sudden Death in these genres ( horror ? ) As if one draws a card that says you are DEAD and must turn OFF like a light switch ...ie , 1st SD guy is stabbed & INSTANTLY dies ...no moaning / groaning / thrashing about , no blood ( usually too MUCH blood ! ) No inconvenient sounds to bring her back to the reality of the murder.... #2 SD is killed instantly by an ordinary storm window closing on him !! ( Magical new laws of physics ) SD# 3 car magically kills woman. Did they watch " Christine " too many Xs ? Then WTF happens at the end ...they left it hanging ? ?? Painted themselves into a corner ? Ran out of $ 💰💰 $ AND ideas ? Too bad , first hour fairly well done....

I don't see how it could make good television. The story took 89 minutes with padding. A tv show would be over in two episodes, and then they would start adding ridiculous characters and new rooms and a rival ai, and we don't know which one is the good twin ai. Maybe you're right. That could be a fun tv show.

My interpretation: she's in a coma in a hospital due to severe concussion. She was discovered in the garage in the car by police who were eventually alerted by her sister. She almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning but was taken to a hospital where she never woke up, just dreams for ever in black and white because the CO destroyed her colour vision. (Near death from CO inhalation can do that!)

Pay attention to how everybody interacts. It's a movie about communication, both verbal and nonverbal, and about manipulation. It's pretty good, too. It's sort of obvious from the beginning what will happen; the story is about how, in detail.
