Good memories thoughs some of the dungeons creatures and music freaked me out as a kid. The introduction song always gave me courage for some reason to push through the game haha and it was well worth it. I'd say most kids today would struggle to beat a game like this XD I should know I got my little brother to play it who is 13 and he couldn't even get to the second area got frustrated quit and went back to Fortnite.

I feel like Level 5 mastered the music and weapon system in this game, sure, it lacks some storyline like some of their other RPGs, but with all the different elements in the combat system, almost nobody's team is the same. I would love to see this multiplayer with a player for every character/ally. Of course that would mean much more monsters and larger dungeons, but please, a remake!

While I would love to say this is true it actually isn't. Dark Cloud may have been intended as a Launch title but it didn't come out until December of that year in Japan and was released over a year after the Console's Launch here in the States. Doesn't even get to be the first RPG. That would be FromSoftware's Eternal Ring.
