Using the glitch menu, it is now possible to get the Chronicle 2 sword before facing the first boss. It also has a max WHP (Weapon Hit Points) of 301, making it better than the one you get when defeating the Black Knight Pendragon in the Demon Shaft.

A lot of glitches are discovered by accident, and refined by trial and error; I'd suspect this glitch started with someone randomly mashing buttons (thereby discovering the inventory slots glitch and the item manipulation glitch), and then others tested it further to see what they could do, resulting in the eventual discovery of the Early Chronicle 2 and the Broken Dagger Attachment glitches.

getting into the code of the game and reading item values within the code and what numbers certain things are assigned to. it's very odd and hard to explain, if you're interested to know more you should check out "Get Item Manipulation" in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. The glitch menu doesn’t come up. I can get the broken dagger into my inventory and then the item that triggers it’s after, but it won’t let me put it down anywhere in my inventory when I press L1 and then X.

I was able to pull the dagger, but entering the glitch menu was difficult. I was able to pull an invisible item, but the menu didn't change at all. I quit for awhile and came back, maybe the time limit has something to do? I don't know, but I was able to enter the glitch menu, and following the remaining instructions, was able to pull the sword. You might want to clarify in video, it's possible to pull an invisible item, but not trigger the menu, and a solution, if you know of one. I send my thanks, now I have experimenting to do with these new blades.

The only way i found myself is by doing this all at the beginning of the game. Dont complete paiges house until you do this glitch and get the sword. Then finish the house, get the 10 item upgrade and boom. You have 10 inventory slots. You don't get your other 50 back but its something. Wish i could figure out how to get it back to normal myself.

+Super-Human True, you cannot. But here's a tip. Grab a garbage weapon like a buyable Gladius, and attach one or two broken daggers to it. You can sell that, and get mad bank. The game factors in the value of attachments when you sell a weapon, so you can sell the gladius, which the game recognizes as a sellable item.

You may need to use the alternate trigger to get into the glitch menu. A link for that trigger is in the description. As for getting rid of the invisible items, save the game and reset. As long as you don't view the "Weapon" or "Allies" screen after re-loading, you should be able to throw the invisible items away.
